We had our wedding dinner for 37 guests held here over a week ago. If I had any doubts about booking a venue without seeing it firsthand, it all went away the moment I saw it during our walk-through the day before the wedding. Ola is absolutely gorgeous and if you are a bride like me who loves the beach and wants a casual beach elegance type of look, then Ola is the place for you. The set-up was perfect during our actual wedding day and it was exactly like how I envisioned it to be. I could not have chosen a more perfect location to celebrate our wedding (ceremony was held at Bay View Beach Point steps away). I'd like to give a big shout-out and Mahalo to all the staff at Ola for making our dream wedding a reality and for going above and beyond - Rachel, chef Fred, the manager and servers that night, everyone who made sure everything was executed to perfection. It was an absolutely magical night and I wouldn't have had it any other way. They gave us our own area, partitioned off with bamboo to make it very private, they set up the bar in the sand area and made it exclusive for our guests' use and they even added the couches to give it a lounge effect. They also accommodated my now husband and a guest who are vegan/vegetarian. Service was excellent and the did not kick us out even after we were supposed to end at 9:30 (more like 10:30). I can't say much about the food because I was too nervous and excited to eat as a bride but all my guests said the food was excellent. I highly recommend Ola for your special occasion. The pictures and Forgetting Sarah Marshall do not do it justice. It's a million times more beautiful in person. My wedding day was perfect! Mahalo, Ola! I will give you 10 stars if I could!
