Formerly known as JP's DJ Entertainment Group, we have been providing outstanding entertainment since 1990.

Headquartered on Long Island, NY Sound Machine provides memorable entertainment throughout Nassau, Suffolk and all 5 New York boroughs as well as the entire Tri-State area.

Creating your special day starts with selecting the right entertainment. With over 25 years of experience, we know exactly how to make your party pop with energy, dancing and excitement!

10/10! Would absolutely work with them again!!

Phil and Mary kept the party going for my grandmother’s 90th birthday! They were so wonderful to work with and my grandmother was incredibly pleased with the party! Would absolutely work with them again! 10/10!!!!

Amazing party thanks to NY Sound Machine!!

Phil and Mary from NY Sound Machine were absolutely amazing!!! They were communicative, helpful, and warm throughout the entire planning process. On the day of our engagement party, they were diligent, helpful, and collaborative in ensuring we had everything we needed and the songs we wanted played. Phil was a great MC who kept the energy high, and everyone was on the dance floor all night long. We had the time of our lives and couldn't have asked for a better time. Thank you so much Phil and Mary, you did amazing!!!!

Best entertainment group

To say they helped make our day THE BEST is an understatement! DJ Dom and Richie did an amazing job keeping the party going and never skipped a beat! We were so happy getting to hear all our favorite music and they took any and all requests from our guests so everyone had just as much fun! We are so grateful we went with NY Sound Machine and would gladly recommend them to anyone who is looking for Wedding entertainment! Mary and Phil were a pleasure to work with during the planning process and helped make sure everything went off without a hitch

Don't hesitate! Book ny sound machine!

I hired NY Sound Machine to DJ/MC our wedding and they were incredible! The dance floor was packed all night long and everyone was giving us compliments on the DJ and his music selections. We also booked an open air photobooth through them which was a huge hit with our guests (there was always a line for the booth all night long) as well as an extremely talented violin/cello duo for our ceremony and cocktail hour. NY Sound Machine was extremely professional and spent lots of time on the phone with us planning every second of the day to make sure it was perfect for us. I highly recommend NY Sound Machine for any event!!!

Amazing bilingual DJ for Barn Reception

We recently had the pleasure of having Jon from NY Sound Machine as the DJ for our barn-style wedding, and we were so happy with our experience! He went above and beyond to ensure that our special day was perfect. He was so personable and receptive to our feedback and ideas, making sure we had an amazing party.

Our DJ did a great job of reading the crowd and knowing just the right songs to play to keep everyone dancing, seamlessly blending the perfect mix of Latin music, oldies, and Motown throughout the evening.

As a bilingual couple, it was also important to us that our wedding celebrations include both English and Spanish, and Jon did an amazing job incorporating both languages into the introductions and announcements. This added such a personal touch to the evening and made all of our guests feel included and welcomed.

Amazing wedding DJ

We were very pleased with NY sound machine. From beginning to end Phil & Mary were efficient, responsive and professional. They answered any questions that I had prior to the day. At my wedding they were amazing !! They played all the songs that I had requested and then some! It was an absolute party and all guests were on the dance floor all night ! A great DJ is what makes the whole party and they did just that ! All family and friend complimented how great & fun they were. NY sound machine was exactly what I was looking for and I am so happy I booked with them!

Our original DJ ended up cancelling on us less than 2 weeks before our wedding and thankfully NY sound machine had availability on our wedding date. Everything ended up being a blessing in disguise and we loved NY sound machine much more than our original DJ. They were great in reading the crowd and had every single guest on the dance floor. Many of our guests called and texted us to say they are not people who typically dance but had so much dancing at our wedding. We had the best experience with them and would recommend without any hesitation. We can't thank you enough NY sound machine for making our wedding day so great.

Top Notch DJ Services

We hired the New York Sound Machine and DJ Phil to handle the musical entertainment for our wedding celebration on August 11, 2023. We had eloped in April after almost 20 years together and we knew exactly what we wanted and didn't want. Phil and Mary are professionals with many years of experience and knowledge of a wide array of artists and their music libraries. We didn't have to worry about a thing with them handling the music. Phil is a terrific DJ and he knows how to motivate the crowd. Our guests thought the evening was terrific from the happy hour music straight through to the last dance of the evening. NY Sound Machine is a wonderful company to work with. Thank. you Phil and Mary for a memorable evening.

Best experience I have ever had!

I was recommended by family and friends to check out NY Sound Machine and I was not dissapointed! Throughout the whole experience Mary & Phil were so kind, professional and accomodating. I booked them for my engagement party and everyone was dancing and having a blast all night long. My fiancé and I LOVE music and it was very important to us to find a DJ that actually cared about what we wanted to hear. They took all of our recommendations into consideration and played all of our favorite songs! We even rented the 360 photobooth which was a HIT!!! I would tell everyone who is planning a wedding rightnow to definitely rent the photobooth you won’t regret it. They were affordable, professional and their communication throughout the whole process was on point. THANK YOU NY SOUND MACHINE!!!
