We worked with Amy from NV Makeup Artistry for our recent wedding; she provided makeup for myself (the bride), my mom, bridesmaids, and my grandmother.

She was an absolute pleasure to work with and did a phenomenal job. I don't typically wear a lot of makeup; Amy did a great job on applying a natural look with just enough drama to photograph beautifully and make me feel extra beautiful on my special day! My mother, bridesmaids, and grandmother looked stunning, as well.

From our first contact, Amy was incredibly professional, responsive, and friendly. She came to our home for a trial and stayed for over an hour perfecting just the perfect look; a recent bride herself, she was incredibly open to feedback and wanted to make certain my vision come to life!

On the day of the wedding, it was more of the same; she and her assistant arrived on time and worked with every girl individually based on their needs and desired looks! She finished everyone on time, if not, ahead of schedule!

I recently got married in September 2012 and I used Amy from NV Makeup. She was AMAZING! I can't say enough great things not only about her work but her professionalism. My hair salon was taking FOREVER with each of the bridesmaids' hair and Amy handled it like a champ, switching around the time slots for the girls to accommodate us. I love, love, loved my makeup so much. I received compliments on it all night. I am planning on using her in the future for special events :) One of my bridesmaids recommended her to her friend as well and it turned out beautiful again! 5 stars at least, i would give her more if I could. Loved her make up belt of brushes and tools she wore!

Amy did my make-up for a wedding I attended as a guest in Chicago in early November. I was feeling very pale since this was early-November, but she did a great job of "waking up" my face and using colors and techniques that complemented my skin.
I usually don't wear a lot of make-up, so I appreciated that Amy asked me what look I was going for and customized a "look" that I could feel comfortable in.
Amy is very approachable and easy to work with. She is not overbearing and wants you to be comfortable in your own skin. I'd definitely work with her again!

Awesome makeup done here!! Amy did my makeup for a wedding I was involved with in August, and she did an excellent job. We talked about how I usually did my makeup, and then she explained things to me and showed me the products she was using and the various colors that she thought would work for me. I was so happy with the end result! She was also very accommodating to my schedule and was easy to work with!

After struggling for months to find someone to do my makeup for my out of state wedding, my maid of honor recommended Amy as she had done the makeup for one of her friend's weddings in the area. I immediately felt good about my decision to contact her as she was extremely understanding and flexible to my situation of not living in the state during the months leading up to the wedding (which was rare among vendors). During my makeup trial Amy was awesome, trying different options for me and making sure I felt comfortable with everything we were doing. A couple days before the wedding I contacted her to see if she could come a bit earlier as my grandmother also wanted to get her makeup done. Amy was able to accommodate without a moment of hesitation. On the day of the wedding, she managed to do pretty much my entire wedding party on her own in about a 4 or 5 hour span of time, including packing up all her things and moving locations halfway through because of an issue at the hotel. Between her overall flexibility, extremely cheerful nature, and professionalism to ensure that everyone felt as put together and comfortable as possible Amy was absolutely fantastic and I would recommend her to anyone.
