Meg makes the best cake in Philadelphia, hands down. Her cakes are always unbelievably tasty and then stunningly designed on top of it. We had a layer of Earl Gray Cake which was divine, and then a layer of champagne cake with raspberry buttercream icing. It was unbelievable. I'll use Meg any time I need a cake in the future, and I cannot recommend her enough!

We changed our mind a few times for Meg, and she was very sweet about it. She did a good job. We went with her not only because we thought the cake was good, but for the fine art quality of the outer design. She was professional and timely with the delivery, and all went well! We would recommend her for fine art cakes, or even just special desserts for anything.

We stumbled upon Nutmeg's cupcakes completely by accident. We were on a marathon cupcake-trying session all across Philadelphia one Sunday when we stopped into a random cafe to use the bathroom and get a cup of coffee. After telling the cafe owner about our cupcake hunt, she suggested we try one of the cupcakes in her case. I was thinking that there was no way that this small cafe could service our wedding, but she was insistent, and gave me the cupcake, a chai tea flavored one, for free, so my fiance and I tried it.

It was amazing. It was easily the best cupcake of my life. It was moist. It was flavorful. It was like eating magic. That's right, like eating magic.

The cafe owner put me in touch with her cupcake supplier, Nutmeg Treats. We met with Meg, the owner of Nutmeg a couple of weeks later to try out some of her other cupcakes. THEY WERE ALL AMAZING!!! We immediately booked her.

We had a variety of Nutmeg's cupcakes at our wedding. People are still raving to us about them.

Our favorite flavors are Raspberry Champagne, Maple Walnut, Chai Tea, Lemon (with lemon curd filling!), and Chocolate with Chocolate Icing and Chocolate Ganache Filling.

If I lived closer to that cafe, I would eat Nutmeg cupcakes every day.
