My husband and I worked with Kay at North Oaks for roughly a year and a half to plan our dream day. Kay was very professional and answered all of our questions in a timely manner. Kay also gave great advice and guidance in area's that we were unsure throughout the planning process. When our wedding day finally came the staff at North Oaks Golf Club did a tremendous job setting everything up exactly how we envisioned it being. John was our day of coordinator and was there to answer any last minute questions we had and aid in the day running smoothly. All of the staff at North Oaks truly made our day a dream come true! Anyone considering North Oaks Golf Club to host their wedding should have no hesitation because they are an amazing group to work with! Thank you North Oaks!

Our wedding day was so wonderful and everything at North Oaks was perfect, beautiful and just what we wanted! Kay and the staff went out of their way to make sure us and our guests were taken care of from beginning to end. Last but not least... the food was the best food at any wedding we have attended-- we heard that comment all night!

Classy and elegant, North Oaks provided the ideal setting for our reception, perfectly prepared meals, picture-worthy pastries, attentive waitstaff, friendly bartenders...I could go on and on. No detail was overlooked.

Jessica met with us multiple times to go over all of the details. Shortly before the wedding, when my husband forgot what the room set up looked like, she graciously walked us through all of the details again.

The club served as our home base throughout the day as we used the locker rooms to get ready, store our personal items during the ceremony, and touch up hair etc before dinner. Couches and wall-sized mirrors for the women; showers, leather arm chairs, and TVs for the men. The relaxing atmosphere provided a great start to the day.

The only thing that could top the gorgeous facility is the superb kitchen and waitstaff. Multiple guests commented that their meat was excellently cooked and there were more than enough waitstaff on hand to make sure all 150 people were served within minutes of each other.

While the staff was serving salads, my husband and I went around to take a picture with each table. I'm sure this was a great disruption to their planned order of serving the tables, but I did not see a single server with anything but a genuine smile on his or her face.

I know North Oaks provided excellent service because my husband and I never had to do anything. Jessica and her team were there to make sure all of our guests' needs were met. Everyone was treated with the personalized attention I would give them as guests in my own home.

On Saturday, October 4, 2014 I was able to marry my best friend. Everything went flawlessly thanks to the wonderful staff and venue North Oaks provides.

Originally, we choose North Oaks Golf Club because when we walked in over a year ago to visit the location the food smells were intoxicating, the staff was wonderful, the venue is gorgeous, and it was reasonably priced compared to other venues in and around the Twin Cities.The venue had to be able to accommodate an outdoor ceremony and an indoor reception, as most of our guests were from out of town.
Throughout the entire planning process the staff was wonderful, even to the point that Jessica (event coordinator) called the City of North Oaks and the Red Barn Historical Society President to get approval for us to take photos at the locations.

The North Oaks staff was overall extremely accommodating and willing to work with me (a particular bride when it comes to details). Throughout the wedding evening the food came out very quickly (15 min for 170 plated meals to be served), and the staff adjusted the quantities of the late night affair (decedent sliders and fruit) to fit the amount of people we had remaining at the reception. They also replenished the cupcakes as they were taken and eaten off the table.

Overall, my husband and I would recommend anyone and everyone to use North Oaks Golf Club as their wedding venue and/or reception venue and we got tons of compliments from our guests.

Jessica, Kay and the whole NOGC staff were a dream come true. Their responsiveness was incredible, even responding after hours and over the weekend. There are countless ways they made our wedding the best day ever - their sincerity and special attention was priceless.

Over our first meeting, the impression we got was, "Yes, yes, and yes again! We can do it all, whatever you need." They absolutely delivered. NOGC staff were so professional, accommodating, warm and thoughtful. They did the set up, the tear down, allowed us to drop things off a week before, and did a lot of work to be sure people with food allergies were satisfied. To top it off, their prices are fair and reasonable, and they are up front about any and all additional costs.

I could not ask for a better venue and group of people to host our wedding.

I highly recommend North Oaks for any event! Kay was wonderful to work with and returned emails very quickly, which is great when you are trying to plan multiple things! I could not have been more happy when I showed up on the day of our wedding and saw our room. Everyone that night was extremely friendly and helpful and everything went off without a hitch. Our guests are still talking about how great the food, service and atmosphere was!

Everyone at NOGC was incredibly helpful, friendly, and made sure the day went smoothly. They were flexible with the last minute changes, gave great service, and the food was good too. The picturesque grounds were perfect for an outdoor wedding. The coordinator was very responsive via email and phone, which was very helpful considering that my husband and I live in NYC. She helped us plan a wedding that was within our budget and made sure our money went the farthest it could. We and our guests have only the best things to say! We highly recommend the NOGC!

On July 13th my ceremony and reception were both held at North Oaks Golf Club and I could not have been happier with the venue and the people who helped make it all happen. Kay, the event coordinator, was helpful, respectful and made sure every detail was taken care of the way that I wanted it to be done. She made sure every aspect of the wedding was thought out and taken care of so that on the day of the wedding we could relax and take it all in. The food was delicious, the wait staff was friendly and the venue itself was absolutely beautiful on the inside and out!

Again, I could not have been happier with how the day turned out and the venue that my husband and I chose. I would recommend this venue to any couple who is looking to have their dream wedding and relax on their wedding day. :)

Staff was extremely responsive and helpful. The venue was beautiful and the staff and chef graciously accommodatedy gluten allergy as well as several of my guests unique allergies. I couldn't have asked for a better evening!
