Working with Ben Lucas of NOM Creative was a fantastic experience! My partner and I happened upon him and his work one evening on Weddingwire. Of the other photographer candidates we had been considering, we determined after browsing his easily accessible gallery online that we liked his style best. It was not long after that we reached out via email to inquire about Ben covering our wedding event. His response to our questions or concerns was timely and he was very helpful. Also, we appreciated how wonderfully flexible he was with us during our planning. In fact, since our individual schedules did not permit meeting in person Ben suggested instead arranging a Skype call from home. Ben was also very informative and his assembled photo packages were customizable to suit us.
On the day of our wedding, Ben was punctual and professional as he met with us. Although we were nervous and self-conscious of the camera, we were eventually able to relax as we chatted with him. As Ben began taking photographs of our venue his attention to detail and passion for what he does truly shone through. While we worked through our day, we soon forgot entirely about the camera as we laughed through our pictures and shared a beautiful moment together. Then when it came time to collect our pictures a few weeks later, Ben was kind enough to stay late in his Seattle studio so that we could meet because of our complicated schedules. As we viewed the slide show that Ben assembled we were delighted as we relieved our wedding day. There were even a few surprise images that Ben had captured that we had no idea he had taken. The final product was great and we ended up adding to our original order a large print of our favorite photo. The quality was far beyond what we might have expected and well worth the investment.
