I hired Night & Day Entertainment to provide jazz instrumentals for a Corporate Celebration we hosted at the Decatur House on April 28th and I have to say, they were exceptional. Mike and his band completely understood the vibe we were hoping to have for our guests. They were on time, well dressed and even took requests (which was not discussed in the initial event details!) It is without question that I would hire them for another event. They impressed me, our guests and everyone won't stop talking about them! My only regret is not capturing more video footage of them!

What a wonderful band, they played Ballroom and Latin music for all of us dancers at my 50th birthday Party at Fredericksburg Square. The music selection was great and the mood in the room was electric! Everyone was having such a great time that the band played a little longer than expected. I would hire this band again! Night and Day performed at my daughter's wedding three years ago and we received so many fabulous comments from the guests that we booked them for my son's wedding April 5, 2014. They were fantastic. The weddings were very different: one, a formal evening event in D.C. and the other a casual Annapolis event. Michael was so easy to work with both in planning and the day of. I would highly recommend them.

Nancy and I had our ceremony and reception at Congressional Countrywide Club in Bethesda and it was important for us to have a classy and elegant band to fit the elegance of the setting. Night and Day was our choice.

Mike Susser, the leader of the band, is a professional that really delivered for us. All the things he mentions on his website are true. He met with us several times prior to the event, spoke with the wedding planner and made sure all of the logistical details were prepared in advance of the event. Michael will MC your event if desired and also allow you to use his PA system for speeches etc. He also learned our first song and played it flawlessly.

During the actual event, Michael and his band performed three roles: grand piano and flautist at the ceremony, electric piano during cocktail hour and the full band for reception. All were done exactly as desired.

In fact Night and Day was fantastic. Professional and excellent musicians, Night and Day are led by Michael and the most endearing female lead singer. They play all the great standards and swing and as the night matured added in some old time rock and roll. They seemed to read the mood of the crowd and respond accordingly. Everybody danced, everybody had fun and many commented on the fabulous band.

In short, if you are looking for a classy and elegant band that looks the part, looks after the details, and delivers, Night and Day is an excellent choice.

Mike Suser is incredibly professional to work with, and he and his band did an absolutely fantastic job our wedding! He and his lead singer have voices that rival the original musicians, and have a sound that make for an exciting and classy party. Everyone was on their feet dancing throughout the night, and guests were constantly praising the band during and ever since the wedding.

Mike Suser and the band were WONDERFUL. Mike was super easy to work with while planning the wedding and did an excellent job throughout the reception. The music was exactly what we envisioned. The band did an excellent job of reading our crowd. Night and Day received compliments from guests of all ages!

The band was great. We enjoyed the music and everyone was up and dancing. Michael Suser was easy to work with: accommodated our tastes and requests, very professional. We didn't use a separate emcee so he handled basic announcements too.

Night and Day made my wedding party a HUGE success! The pricing for this outstanding band is more than reasonable, especially for all that they put into getting ready for the wedding (they want to know if your plans include specific themes, or if there are specific songs you want played, etc). When they set up - they are ready to perform and they do - all party long. Sometimes it takes wedding guests a while to warm up for dancing, but even with my not-so-dance-y-friends, they were dancing before long. You can chat with family and friends while they're playing, too, which helped my husband and I talk to his older aunts and uncles. Anytime I needed to contact Michael, he made himself available to answer my questions - which was such a relief during the hectic planning.

Night and Day were wonderful to work with and such a good band. Everyone enjoyed our wedding and the entertainment. They also played at our cocktail party.

Mike Suser and the Night & Day band were a fantastic group. They were able to "go with the flow" and keep the guests up on the dance floor all evening.
