When my husband and I began looking for vendors for our wedding, we knew finding the right photographer was paramount to us. After reaching out to at least a handful of photographers, Nicole's bubbly and positive personality stood out above the rest.
Before booking with her, she set up a zoom 'date night' with my [then fiancé] & I to get to know us better. We couldn't believe she took time to do this, as a way to get to know us better. She came prepared with questions and games for us to play--which was honestly so fun for us!

We spent a year and a half working with Nicole until our big day. Nicole is extremely organized, timely, detail oriented, professional, kind, beyond skilled and will quickly become a good friend throughout the process. She frequently checked in on us to see how we were doing; and answered all of our questions along the way. At random times she would send us things in the mail, to let us know she was thinking about us, and excited for our big day. She also helped us with our day of timeline!

The day of she was an absolute dream! She was so accommodating and ran around to help me with whatever I needed--on top of taking so many great pictures. We booked a second shooter through her (highly recommend) and the photographer she selected (Meredith) couldn't have been any better! She, like Nicole, was such a blast to work with and so talented. Nicole again, was extremely organized the day of. Even took the time to learn my family and friends' names, so she could call people by name for pictures. It was more than we could've asked for--and such a thoughtful touch.

As soon as our pictures were edited and ready to review, Nicole set up a zoom meeting with us, where she created a slideshow of some of her favorite pictures. It was a great way for us to reflect on our wedding day, and admire her beautiful work! We appreciate her always making us feel special

My only negative feedback is that after my wedding she moved across the country from me, so I will have to go visit her for future photography sessions. If you are in the Boise area and looking for a photographer, look no further. You will be in great hands!

I'll definitely provide another review on Nicole once we have our engagement session and wedding photos in 2020, but can I just say how fun it was to book with Nicole? Right after inquiring about her availability, she sent me the sweetest video text message (which, I didn't even know you could do!), and we set a date to meet in person (she prefers to meet all clients before booking).

We originally made plans to meet at 6pm on a Friday, but my fiance got off work a bit early, so we texted her just a couple hours before to see if we could move it to 5pm and she was super flexible and agreed. We met at a local coffee shop, and she asked for our drink orders ahead of time since she wanted to get us each a drink and have them ready when we arrived (how sweet, right?).

When we arrived, we were greeted with hugs and honestly it felt like we were instant friends. She wanted to know all about us, our proposal story, and what we know about the wedding so far. My fiance noted afterwards how it was so obvious she was genuinely interested in getting to know us. Only after hearing all about us did she review her process, show us a sample gallery online of a wedding she's done, and show us both the photo album she includes with some of her packages and her print options. We loved getting to physically see what we'd potentially be buying (my fiance fell in love with the albums she offers). She insisted that we take time to make our decision and had no intention of pressuring us to book her on the spot (she actually said she won't even bring contracts to her initial meetings). On top of that, she gave us a fun little gift.

We literally got into our car afterwards and said "we're booking her immediately, right?" - I sent over what package of hers we wanted and she had the contract over to us the same day. The website she uses to handle contracts and payments was SUPER easy and I was able to charge the deposit to my credit card with zero issues. She also sent over some recommendations for other wedding vendors within a couple days, too. I had been SO stressed out trying to figure out a photographer, and Nicole made it really fun and easy. I'm so excited to have a photographer I'll actually enjoy spending my wedding day with!

Nicole was so easy to work with throughout the process of us figuring out what we wanted for our engagement photoshoot and planning the logistics of making it happen. We had difficult weather (extreme cold) the weekend our photoshoot was scheduled, and Nicole was flexible and willing to work with us to adjust the time of our shoot and talk through the shoot indoors instead of outdoors so that we could get the outdoor shots we wanted without completely freezing. We had a lot of fun during the shoot itself - Nicole made us feel comfortable and kept us laughing! She shared great advice on how to prepare for the photoshoot and guided us through poses we never would have thought of, some of which turned out to be our favorite pictures. We feel that Nicole listened to us and took the time to understand what we wanted from the photoshoot, and we are thrilled with the quality of our resulting pictures. They are beautiful and capture the variety we wanted - both sweet/romantic pictures and goofy ones as well (just like our relationship).

Nicole has a great eye for getting the most out of the couples or people that she shoots. We loved the pictures that she took of us and are excited to work with her again soon!

Nicole was hands down the best photographer. She made me and my fiancé feel relaxed from the start, and we ended up having a great time laughing and enjoying her company. You can really tell that she did such a great job capturing our relationship in our engagement photos. We’ve even hired her to do our wedding now! I couldn’t recommend her enough!

I expected this photo session to be a drag but it was actually fun. We tried different types of photos and Nicole told my fiancee and me to kiss a lot. I always like that. To make us genuinely smile, she would say things like "whisper in your fiancee's ear what you thought on your first date", and things like that. So the photo shoot had the added bonus of reminding us of the romance we feel for each other.

We had Nicole shoot our engagement photos, and we could not be happier with the results. Originally I didn't have a great sense for exactly what I was looking for (I think my exact request was "maybe downtown where there is water?"). Nicole took the vague request and ran with it bringing us to the art museum and surrounding park which worked perfectly.

Before the shoot she sent over lots of information about what to expect including where to park, what to wear, and a reminder to bring bug spray (which we of course forgot 😂). Luckily Nicole brought extra bug spray and a blanket which worked as a cute prop and a good coat once the sun was setting and it got chilly. She had clearly done her research and knew exactly where to take us to get a good variety of shots. She timed it perfectly so we could catch the golden hour and snag some beautiful sunset photos by the water and museum. The whole time she was shooting she was energetic and friendly making us smile naturally by shouting out funny prompts to whisper to each other.

She kept the agonizing wait for the edits fun by sending me an occasional sneak preview and had our full set back to us very quickly. We had such a blast during the shoot and such a hard time picking our save the date photo because we had so many great ones to choose from!
