The Nicki Rouge Bridal team really helped make the day easy and beautiful. From making my mother feel comfortable to giggling along with my flower girl, the team made what should have been a stressful day relaxing. They also were so communicative prior to the wedding with a last-minute change on my end that, because of their attention to detail, ended up being okay in the end. They really followed what I asked for in both hair and makeup. I felt listened to and taken care of in a way I really appreciated. I would recommend for any bride/bridal party.

Working with the Nicki Rouge Bridal Team overall was a truly wonderful experience from start to finish. Nicki made the process so easy! My makeup artists B and Charice were so chill and easy to work with, and they really set the mood for a fun day while getting our faces done. 5 STARS! Nicki and her team are the epitome of talented, professional, punctual, and luxurious. As a bride, with a large bridal of many different skin tones, I was looking for some key things in a MUA.
1. I needed a full team of talented artists (one and done) vs. struggling to find 3 different artists.
2. I needed an MUA that specialized in Bridal looks, not just any style of makeup.
3. And last, I needed a professional. Someone who was accessible/ responsive when to I needed or when changes needed to be made, proactive communicator.

I hired Nicki Rouge Bridal Team because they were one of the only bridal teams that appeared to do makeup well regardless of skin tone, skin texture, and age. I live in a smaller town about 2.5 hours away from Chicago, and I knew I had a broad range of complexions and races represented in my bridal party, yet I wanted everyone to feel comfortable knowing that qualified, experienced professionals would do our makeup. I hired NRBT for my wedding day makeup, but what I received was so much more. I received a high level of professionalism and engagement from start to finish. Nicki was timely with communication, she provided a transparent and professional contract for services, she curated a day-of makeup schedule that worked with a hectic hair schedule (due to hair appointments offsite with non-NRBT hair stylists) for my entire bridal party, and her team’s energy was unmatched in the most beautiful way. Most important, her team arrived on time and had the entire party ready on time. They truly made my wedding day special, and I love these women forever! A long overdue review! I got married in January 2022, and Nicki and her team did my makeup as well as my wedding party's makeup. They hit it out of the park. Everyone, including me, loved their makeup and looked absolutely amazing. My mom, who I had to persuade to get hers done, said to me, "I've never seen myself look like this." She was in awe lol.

Nicki was a pleasure to work with throughout the process. She was professional, responsive and knowledgable. And she really listens to her clients to understand what they want and helps make sure they're comfortable. I'd only had my makeup done a handful of times before my wedding, so I was nervous and frankly didn't really know what I wanted or what would work for me, but working with Nicki, I knew quickly I was in good hands.
