Rachel and Matt were FANTASTIC!! The photos were absolutely gorgeous and they made our wedding day incredibly fun and easy. They area blast to be around and had the timeline perfectly under control. They have a wonderful way of putting everyone at ease on what can be a stressful, nervous day. I've admired their work for years and was thrilled that they could shoot our wedding. Nickel Images was by far our favorite wedding vendor to work with! Rachel and Matt shot our engagement photos in June 2010 and our wedding in July 2011. I knew just from looking at their blog that there was something special about them and I was most definitely right! Their style is classic, a little vintage, and most importantly...FUN! My husband and I never felt awkward, in fact, we were laughing and having such a good time that Rachel had to remind us that we might not want to be laughing in every single photo! Nickel Images really captures the true joy and miracle of life events such as engagements, weddings, newborns, and honestly, just about anything they photograph. And their editing is impeccable! Everyone in my photos looked great, but still very natural. I highly recommend this amazing couple! :)

Working with Matt and Rachel Nickel was a delight - we got along from the first time we met. I found them both easy to talk to and engaging, like age-old friends who just happened to be around taking top tier photos of my wedding. They were very professional and organized, yet helped my husband and I feel at ease in front of the camera. I was impressed with their vision and being able to get the photos back and see the magic they dreamed up while I was thinking, "why are we standing here like this?" Definitely established a relationship that we will continue to utilize for family photos and events in the future.

I love the Nickels! Matt and Rachel are nothing other than wonderful! It was an absolute joy to work with them. Taking pictures with them felt very natural and never awkward. They have a very artistic eye, and took beautiful pictures of us, our venue, and our guests. They were also the most responsive of all of our vendors--making sure they had a list of what types of photos we wanted and giving us a schedule of what the day would look like. I could not recommend them more highly!
