My husband and I got married recently at Hotel 1000 in Seattle. Rachel did all our flowers, and we were so thrilled with the results! The flowers were a complete reflection of the vision I had. And even though we hired her only a month and-a-half before the wedding, everything went very smoothly. Rachel was easy to get a hold of, and had no problem working with my schedule for meetings. We look forward to working with Rachel on future events!

Rachel was the florist for my wedding ceremony and reception at Woodmark Hotel. We did a lot of research of florists design (about 10 to 15 from WeddingWire and The Knot and reviewed the portfolio from each one). Rachel was the only one that we found suitable for our tastes (with an organic and elegant design). The price is considerably higher (about 2 times more) than the other florists that we talked to but wedding is once in a life time event (and it was worth it in retrospect!)

Rachel is extremely thoughtful and organized from the beginning to the end. It was simple to work with Rachel because she has good tastes and we pretty much had a lot of confidence to let her run with her designs. We filled out a questionnaire about our wedding. Rachel designed the flowers and tables linens and gave us lots of good ideas to choose from.

We would recommend Rachel for those who would like a top class florist in Seattle.

We used Rachel Bowes of Finch and Thistle Event Design for our daughter’s wedding. She was our wedding coordinator as well as our wedding designer responsible for flowers and the overall theme. Rachel was exceptional in every way! The décor was beautifully done and set the tone of understated elegance my daughter had requested. Most important to us was her expertise in planning and execution of our entire wedding. Rachel’s calm professionalism, knowledge and contact with vendors, plus her ability to brainstorm solutions to unexpected problems that arose, attention to detail and upbeat attitude was exemplary.
