We were so fortunate to have chosen Nick Bacon as our Officiant!!! He was extremely responsive and professional since day one and the whole process was very smooth. He helped us pick the perfect spot for our (very) rainy wedding day! Everything came out perfectly and magical. He has the most heartwarming smile and energy! He had our vows and blessings laminated and stayed with us until everybody was ready to leave the venue. Thank you Nick!!

We were very lucky and fortunate to have Nick Bacon as the officiant for our wedding in June 2022. Nick was very professional and and an absolute pleasure to work with leading up to our big day. We got married at the Loeb Boathouse in Central Park and we was very knowledgeable about the park. He was helpful with all paperwork and administrative issues making the overall process seamless. I chose Nick for three reasons: he was relatively inexpensive, he specializes in park weddings, and he has a cool moustache, but he exceeded all expectations.

Nick works in park services as his day job, so he knows all the most beautiful spots in Central Park and how to avoid a crowd. Also, since there is always the possibility of rain, Nick knew some beautiful stone underpasses we could go to if the weather turned sour. He was also extremely flexible, taking the whole day off just for us and willing to move the wedding earlier or later depending on the weather.

He was very well prepared, and sent us the script well ahead of time for us to review and approve, and after the wedding he had all the paperwork ready to go, so that part was quick and easy.

Finally, Nick is just a really swell guy. He is friendly and lovable, and I really feel like he cared about us having a good experience. He didn't ask me to write this review, but I went out of my way to make sure I did, because he was just so great. I would 100% recommend Nick to anyone thinking of a park wedding in NYC.

Nick was an absolute godsend in officiating our wedding. We were visiting NY from Canada and had a last minute cancelation from our original officiant - I was put in contact with Nick and he saved the day! Very responsive to emails and FB messages, and while our script was prepared by our original officiant, Nick made our ceremony truly special and went above and beyond to ensure we sealed the deal. Most helpful with cross-border legal tips and what needed to be done by us prior to the wedding day. While it was unfortunate that Covid eliminated our other officiant from our day, Nick soared in and made our day perfect. Thank you, Nick!

Nick was an amazing officiant and he was incredibly easy to work with. We appreciated that he was game for our unusual concept (a poetry reading turned surprise wedding, in which the final poem turned into our vows). We worried about a lot of things leading up to the ceremony, but one thing that we did not worry about was Nick! A true gem.

Working with Nick to plan and conduct our wedding ceremony was an easy and efficient experience that yielded a special, intimate ceremony in Central Park. We had been considering getting married at the court house but we are very glad we were able to hire Nick instead! He met us at a general location so we could find the exact spot for our ceremony - his extensive knowledge of the park was very helpful. On the day of the ceremony there was rain expected in the afternoon, Nick was very flexible and let us shift the start time to accommodate the weather. He delivered a lovely service, we would highly recommend working with Nick!
