We chose Nick because of the great reviews here on WeddingWire, and we are so glad we did! From day one, the communication was great, Nick is very responsive and answers every single question you may have. He provided a script as soon as we confirmed we’d be moving forward with him and he asked us to provide any details we’d like to have in our ceremony and made sure to add them in. We are so thankful he was there to be our officiant on our special day and I would highly recommend him to anyone in the NYC area! Thank you, Nick!!

We were very lucky and fortunate to have Nick Bacon as the officiant for our wedding in June 2022. Nick was very professional and and an absolute pleasure to work with leading up to our big day. We got married at the Loeb Boathouse in Central Park and we was very knowledgeable about the park. He was helpful with all paperwork and administrative issues making the overall process seamless. I chose Nick for three reasons: he was relatively inexpensive, he specializes in park weddings, and he has a cool moustache, but he exceeded all expectations.

Nick works in park services as his day job, so he knows all the most beautiful spots in Central Park and how to avoid a crowd. Also, since there is always the possibility of rain, Nick knew some beautiful stone underpasses we could go to if the weather turned sour. He was also extremely flexible, taking the whole day off just for us and willing to move the wedding earlier or later depending on the weather.

He was very well prepared, and sent us the script well ahead of time for us to review and approve, and after the wedding he had all the paperwork ready to go, so that part was quick and easy.

Finally, Nick is just a really swell guy. He is friendly and lovable, and I really feel like he cared about us having a good experience. He didn't ask me to write this review, but I went out of my way to make sure I did, because he was just so great. I would 100% recommend Nick to anyone thinking of a park wedding in NYC.
