Nanxi's one-woman photography service was a godsend! I spent weeks looking for the right photographer to do our engagement shoot, but couldn't find a single one that was available and within our price range. I originally contacted Nanxi through her Craigslist ad and after a few email exchanges, we finally had a date set for the shoot.

Nanxi has a real eye for scenery - even in the urban jungle that is Manhattan. Her pictures brought out the charm of every building and landmark we visited. The consummate professional, she always put the feelings and comfort of her subjects first. I had some reservations about shooting in the middle of busy NY streets and public areas, but after seeing her photos of my fiance (now husband!) and I in Central Park, I was relieved. She really made us feel comfortable and natural during the shoot.

I would highly recommend Nanxi - she's very professional and easy to work with. Also great is the fact that she's a photographer for the budget-conscious couple and her rate was very affordable. Truly a gem!

Nanxi did an engagement shoot for my husband and me. We spent an entire morning taking photos in various NYC locations - the Brooklyn Bridge, Washington Square Park, the West Village, etc. Nanxi brought a ton of energy and dedication to the shoot - from waking up bright and early to start shooting before it got too crowded, to spending nearly five hours with us! She also struck a perfect balance between listening to our ideas and suggesting her own.

We loved working with Nanxi- she was flexible, professional and easy to work with. And our photos came out absolutely gorgeous - we couldn't be happier!
