Melissa and John were absolutely wonderful for our wedding! They made the wedding (and the planning!) a breeze. John handled the music and the MCing with gentleness and professionalism; Melissa was an absolute hero as our wedding coordinator. We were stressed exactly zero times on the day-of — and that’s in large part thanks to them. Can’t recommend enough!!

We had the absolute pleasure of working with Mystik Music for our wedding, and we truly can’t say enough great things about Jon and Mellisa. From the moment we had our first two-hour meeting with Jon to craft a wedding playlist that truly reflected who we are, we knew we were in great hands. They came as a team, and together they curated a flawless experience from start to finish.

Mellisa, our coordinator, was incredibly organized and thoughtful. She worked closely with us to build the perfect timeline that ensured our day flowed smoothly. She didn’t just take care of us—she took care of our entire wedding party, making sure everyone felt supported and stress-free.

After searching for weeks, we were referred by a friend to give John and Melissa a call. So, my fiancé, now wife reached out, and after talking to John and checking out Social Media and reading reviews. We knew we had found our DJ!!! Over the next 4-5 months we would have video calls and emails dialing in our day. It started out with what our vision was. And what kind of music we wanted? To what kind of food we were having and who our photographer was. Also did we want games? flower toss? What dances we wanted? and then what songs did we want for (the walk, the exit song, 1st dance last dance and everything in between was talked about and planned out perfectly down to the minute (with room to spare for bathroom breaks etc) So we knew we wanted John to DJ but the real superstar was his Wife (he will say the same) Melissa, she is a wedding day coordinator and she literally saved the day!
Communication was easy, they were on time, 3 hours before to set up and get settled, very professional. Their equipment was clean, worked well, sounded good. No hiccups, nothing broken, No static, It all sounded and looked amazing!
Melissa had a timeline of our day, she had requested all other vendors numbers and emails. So she had already spoken with Photographer and Caterer. We had a few issues with catering being late, and the way Melissa and John worked everything around and kept the flow of the wedding was absolutely perfect, so much so my bride didn’t even realize what had happened.
Their enthusiasm and excitement for weddings was on full display! We are beyond grateful and blessed to have had John and Melissa share in our celebration! During our first meeting with John, he helped us create the timeline for our wedding day. We had ideas about what we wanted, and he worked closely with us to ensure we could incorporate everything that would make our day meaningful and special. He was up-to-date on the latest wedding trends, even suggesting the shoe game, which our family absolutely loved. Throughout the process, he actively listened to our needs and offered suggestions on how to make everything flow seamlessly with our ceremony. When it came to DJing, what impressed us the most is when he wasn’t familiar with a genre or specific song we wanted to include, he went out and researched weeks ahead to make sure the songs he played were what we wanted. He also served as an MC, keeping our guests informed of all the things happening that day. I’ll sum up his DJing this way: Many wedding DJs can get the younger crowd dancing all night, but John kept the older guests dancing from the moment we opened the dance floor until we were sent off at the end of the night.

Melissa was absolutely amazing from the beginning to end! During our meetings with her and John, she made sure to discuss all of the details regarding the itinerary for the day of, ceremony, and reception. Making sure she was executing everything we wanted for our wedding. She’s professional, organized, detail-oriented and overall an incredible human being. Not only did our wedding day go smoothly, as a result of her being an excellent day of coordinator, she made sure our guests were cared for and happy. I have received numerous compliments from our guests who stated how amazing and kindhearted she was. She even went around to some of our older guests to check on them and make sure they had everything they needed. This just shows her character and how she truly cares about others. John and Melissa were single-handedly the best decision that we made for our wedding. From the second we met them up until our wedding exit, we felt the support, love and genuine attention to detail. They really are the dream team.

Melissa as our day of coordinator was one of my favorite things in my life. She had the best system that made sure that our day was the best day. Every single one of our vendors told me afterwards how genuine, amazing, and down to earth she was in making sure everyone had what they needed. She calmed my nerves, took care of family members, made sure every announcement, dance, photo, and anything else that we scheduled happened on time and flawlessly. She is a miracle worker in disguise.

John as our DJ was a no brainier. He is the absolute best in the business. When we went into planning we had no idea just how important a DJ/ MC was. Not only did he play our favorite songs, he also directed our entire ceremony, made sure we had the right mics and settings, and everything in-between. He had fun, involving games for the reception, and made the night one to remember. John has been doing this flawlessly for years, so he thought of every detail down to the nail and helped us coordinate the best day ever.

If we could go back and do everything again, we'd choose Mystik Music a million times over! Anyone who books them is so lucky to have them. We've made friends for life and words don't do justice on how much we recommend them!!

My husband and I were more on the inexperienced side when it came to “typical” wedding timelines and smaller details. After our first meeting we knew we picked the right Dj and Day of Coordinator because we finally felt a sense of calm in terms of what was happening day of.
