The tuxedos were the only stress throughout the planning of our wedding. My husband, who is not an excitable person, was very disappointed with the services that MW/Tux provided. In terms of quality; the wedding party looked fabulous, but I gave them a 3 out of 5 because of their inability to follow through. We had a few of issues with their service; specifically, we paid the deposits for all of our wedding party to help them out. First, we knew that the tuxedos that we chose were the most expensive, and two, we thought that it would make the fitting process easier (i.e. one less thing to worry about). The note that we paid the deposits was only included for one member of the wedding party; my 5 year old nephew! When our best man went to get fitted, they made it seem like he had to pay for everything at that time. I was specifically told to hold off on having the little guys fitted until 2-3 weeks before the wedding, and 4 weeks before the wedding I started receiving phone calls from MW/Tux telling me that they have not been in yet to get fitted. Can you please read your notes? I could go on and on... My husband had requested suspenders (even though you could not see them), but my Mother-in-law really wanted a picture of all of the guys in their suspenders. So, we made sure to require that all of the gents have suspenders. Again, I think one person in the wedding party had suspenders. My husband had to go to pick-up his tuxedo on three separate occasions because they could not get it right! One sleeve longer than the other, buttons missing on the pants, again, I could go on. In terms of value for cost; the guys spent more on tuxedos that had to be returned than the ladies spent on dresses that they get to keep. If you want a nice look, consider asking the guys to buy the same suit instead. At least you will know that no one has worn it before and you get to keep it. It is the only decision that my husband wishes he could change.
