Mustard Seed Hill is a mansion wedding venue located in Millersburg, Kentucky. Featuring a stately manor at the heart of 14 acres of property, this is a private, yet grandiose, setting. An ideal space for your wedding celebration, it successfully marries comforting charm with elegant extravagance.

Facilities and Capacity

At Mustard Seed Hill, as many as 250 people can be accommodated. With a balanced mix of indoor and outdoor spaces, both cultivated nature and architectural brilliance blend harmoniously here.

From the outside, amidst a sea of green spaces and clear skies, the main building stands out. The Allen House is a stunning building that captivates the attention from afar. As you and your wedding party draw nearer, its brick-and-mortar beauty becomes clearer still.

Outdoors, on the south lawn there is a perfect place to host your ceremony. Just outside the Allen House you can gather your guests to share in the moment when you become official newlyweds. With the high gray brick wall and colorful flowers as your backdrop, your guests can capture the moment on their phones as you are officially joined in matrimony.

Once the magical moment has been sealed, the wedding party can come together to mingle on the patio area on the edge of the lawn.

For the reception, there are several choices available. You could opt to host the all-important meal in the garden. Here, string bulb lighting can be hung up as you all savor the cuisine in the fresh open air. To the rear of the Allen House is a beautiful 40X80 framed tent with market lights and chandeliers, complete with a dance floor, so that everyone can dine, wine, and recline late into the night.

Inside, in the back porch area, you could easily host your reception with the glowing evening sky overhead. An events room, antique bar, and bridal suite are also available.

Services Offered

Cleanup and setup services are available - which is ideal for prior to and following the celebrations. Considering they also provide event rentals, there is little need for the couple of honor to contact companies to source other furniture. The venue’s staff are also more than willing to allow outside vendors onsite so that you can personalize the venue. 19 overnight accommodation rooms are also available.

History

With a history dating back as far as 1852, this house boasts over one-and-a-half century’s worth of rich past and memories. In 2016, a non-profit organization called Community Ventures bought the property before it was heavily restored. Undoubtedly, Mustard Seed Hill has become transformed through hard work, love, and an appreciation of historic buildings. Perhaps the best piece of history to come out of it, though, will be the long and fruitful relationship you build with your partner as a wedded couple.
