Talon Winery & Vineyards

Talon Winery is a historic wedding venue in Lexington, Kentucky, with over five acres of vineyard and three hundred acres of farmland. Located on the Fair View Farm, this venue offers a nice country getaway from all the hustle and bustle of the city and is nestled between some of Kentucky’s most beautiful horse farms. Couples celebrating their nuptials can enjoy a wine tasting in Talon’s 18th-century tasting room. The panoramic views of the magnificent trees, rolling green hills, and expansive skies offer a breathtaking backdrop to any special event.

Facilities and Capacity

Boasting breathtaking vistas, a sun-kissed patio, and best of all, incredible wine, this venue is a bucolic space to begin creating shared memories. Couples can take in the whole property while strolling down the winding path hand in hand. Talon Winery has two main event spaces: the Ca’Barn’et Barrel Barn and the Monarch Pavilion. The Ca’Barn’et Barrel Barn is a short distance away from the award-winning vineyard. Whether you are dreaming of a classic, romantic venue or one with a rustic-chic vibe, this barn can be transformed to suit your wedding vision. This indoor area overflows out the main doors onto a small patio area and can collectively seat 200 to 250 comfortably. Intimate wedding venues can be held on the patio overlooking the beautiful vineyards and the tranquil pond. The barn boasts a bar area, a catering kitchen, concrete floors, a dance floor, a foyer, heating and air conditioning, and indoor restrooms. The Monarch Pavilion is Talon’s exclusively outdoor location, complete with both covered space and open areas that create a wonderfully relaxing environment for you and your guests. With a capacity to host up to 250 guests, this expansive lawn area ensures that each couple is able to celebrate their union with those closest to them.

The diligent staff at Talon Winery is ready to assist couples in bringing their dream event to life. The team is well-equipped to support couples in planning any event from the engagement party to the wedding reception. There is an on-site suite available in the Homestead Tasting House for the wedding party to prepare in. This venue offers clean-up and a selection of event rentals including altars, arches, chairs, lighting, barware, and tables. Talon Winery has ample parking and wheelchair access for you and your guests, and they can provide couples with space for bridal showers, ceremonies, engagement parties, and receptions.
