About

Mustard Seed Gardens is historic farmstead turned event venue in the heart of Indiana. Our mission is simple: create a one-of-a-kind backdrop, celebrate love and have the best time doing it.

Our Spaces

Designed for function and beauty, each space of our property will meet your wedding day needs and provide a stunning backdrop for every moment of your big day. The Farmhouse is used as a gathering space for wedding parties and families before the "I do's." The farmhouse features spacious getting ready rooms and a functional kitchen. Our outdoor ceremony site is framed by hundred-year-old maple and pine trees and blooming flowers. The outdoor area includes space for a patio cocktail hour and lawn reception. If you’ve been dreaming of an indoor reception, you can dine and dance in the Barn. Its high-vaulted ceilings and original hardwood floors are complemented by a modern exterior. Each space is heated and air-conditioned and, patio heaters and a fireplace are also available for outdoor celebrations. Our venue comfortably accommodates 200 guests.


Our Team

We coordinated our first wedding in 2010 and our 500th in 2019. Our team of coordinators have strong backgrounds in wedding & event management and guide our clients through the planning process. We consider hearing the phrase “I didn’t have to worry about a thing” a total success.

Wonderful Team + Beautiful Venue!

We were so happy having our wedding at Mustard Seed Gardens and would recommend to others!! The location has good proximity for people to stay nearby. The property is beautiful and feels tucked away! The staff is super helpful and all the resources they provided were very beneficial throughout the planning process. They were onsite the entire wedding day and ensured everything ran smoothly. They were also very responsive throughout the entire plannign process. We would highly recommend this venue to others and are so grateful for all their hard work!!

Hole-in-one kind day at Iron Ember ⛳️

Iron & Ember played such a special role in our wedding weekend, and we truly could not have asked for a better experience! Iron & Ember provided a list of food catering and DJ vendors to choose from, which made the entire process feel so simple and stress-free, every vendor on the list was incredibly professional and reasonably priced. Having an in-house bar package through the venue was another huge plus and made coordinating everything so much easier. Bethany went above and beyond throughout the entire process, helping with decorating and even moving our larger floral arrangements from the outdoor ceremony space into the reception room on the wedding day. Honestly, I didn’t have to worry about a single logistical detail because the team was that organized and that good. Bethany’s communication, kindness, and attention to detail made us feel completely taken care of. Our guests are still talking about how amazing the venue was, and we’re so grateful to have celebrated at I&E.

We could not have asked for anything more from a wedding venue. The beauty of Mustard Seed speaks for itself - stunning in person and somehow even more impressive than photos can capture.

What the photos don’t show, though, is the incredible team working behind the scenes to make everything seamless. The staff is what truly set this place apart for us. From the very first time we stepped onto the property, they were completely dedicated to bringing our vision to life. They made us feel like our wedding was the only one that mattered - something we didn’t quite feel at other venues.

If you’re looking for elegance without the stress, your search is over. Choosing Mustard Seed will be one of the easiest, and best, decisions you make in your wedding planning journey.

Mustard Seed Gardens - everything we had hoped

This venue and the entire staff went above and beyond to make the wedding day special! They exceeded our dreams for the day with great care, attention & effort to anything that came up that day and all the care that went into planning. We got so many compliments on not only the beautiful grounds, barn and gable but also the event staff and even the bar tenders kindness & professionalism. They handled the planning, details, and everything that was thrown their way with great care and professionalism. Extra special THANK YOU to Emma who could not have done a better job throughout the entire planning & day of process. I highly recommend Mustard Seed Gardens for an amazing event.

September outdoor wedding

Our wedding at Mustard Seed Gardens was so special, our coordinator Nicole truly went above and beyond to achieve our vision. The MSG staff worked so well with all of our vendors and ensured everything went smoothly on the day of our wedding. I felt MSG was fairly up front about pricing and when they had a venue issue that would affect our wedding day they were quick to provide a reasonable refund to cover it. I cannot say enough positive things about our coordinator Nicole- she really tied so many details together and offered a lot of support throughout our planning process. We would absolutely recommend MSG to anyone looking for a beautiful venue.

Would Recommend

We loved working with Nicole and the Mustard Seed Gardens team. They were able to answer all of our questions promptly. Mustard Seed was the first and only venue we toured because it was that perfect for our wedding day. It's a beautiful venue and met all of our needs. One example of the team's excellence was in regard to their Gable. It wasn't supposed to be up for our wedding day, but they couldn't get it taken down before, so they offered us a whole furniture set for the fireplace area and a photobooth for our troubles without us asking. They were amazing additions to have for our wedding day and we hardly even noticed the Gable, so they were very generous with those offers! Our guests throughout the day and post the wedding had so many nice things to say about the staff that were working that day. We really couldn't have asked for anything better than having our wedding at Mustard Seed Gardens.

Awesome msg team!

We had the unique challenge of hosting two weddings (Indian and American) on the same day, and the team at MSG absolutely exceeded every expectation! From the very beginning, they were organized, attentive, and genuinely invested in making our day perfect.
The timeline management was phenomenal – seamlessly transitioning between two completely different ceremonies and reception without a single hiccup. Every detail was handled with precision, from décor changes to coordinating vendors, and they made it look effortless.
The staff was professional, warm, and proactive, anticipating needs before we even voiced them. Our guests were blown away by the smooth flow of events and the stunning setup for both weddings. The venue itself was gorgeous during fall, but what truly made the experience unforgettable was the dedication and care of the entire team.

Beautiful Venue, Professional and Smooth Service

We loved Mustard Seed Gardens, and the coordination and support we received leading up to and during the event from Aubrey, Nicole, and Noelle. It was nice to have preferred, excellent vendors (helped with less decision-making), and the coordination day-of was super smooth, friendly, professional, and flawless. 10/10 would recommend!

We had our wedding at Mustard Seed Gardens on June 21, 2025, and we truly couldn’t have asked for a more wonderful experience. From start to finish, the team at MSG was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and joyful—it genuinely felt like they were celebrating right alongside us!

Their experience with weddings truly shines through. Every step of the planning process was smooth, and they were always ready with helpful suggestions or answers to our questions. Their flexibility was also so appreciated—we chose to have our ceremony off-site, and they worked with us effortlessly to make that transition feel natural and stress-free.

The venue itself is absolutely stunning. The historic barn and the surrounding outdoor spaces created such a magical atmosphere and gave us the most beautiful backdrop for our photos. So many of our guests commented on how gorgeous everything looked!

Mustard Seed Gardens was everything we hoped for and more. We are so grateful to the team for helping us create such a special and memorable day. Highly recommend to any couple looking for a venue full of charm, joy, and heart!
