Melissa is the founder of Creative Events and has worked as full-time Office Director and DJ since 2010. She also teaches Zumba and Musical Theater through their sister company, Creative Cardio/Music in Motion. Prior to creating the business, she worked in various inefficient offices, an experience which taught her the significance of running a flawless business. Her upbeat personality and interactive entertainment skills have also helped the company achieve its well-known reputation in the community. Together with her husband, Michael T. Thomas, and their family friend, Marty Defilippis, who complement Melissa's talents, Creative Events has everything it needs to succeed! Melissa claims her business is like the little pig who built his house out of bricks instead of straw or twigs. "Our family business is not a get-rich-quick scheme; we're not in this to make millions of dollars. The company is like our child, and we know what we need to survive without ripping off our clients" (Melissa Mazanec Thomas).

Michael T. Thomas, co-owner of Creative Events, was the inspiration for Creative Events and its sister company, Creative Cardio/Music in Motion back in 2010. His phenomenal musical talents and unique abilitiy to draw or build anything using the naked eye (including the company's Photo Booths) has brought this family-owned business to a level of its own over the past twelve years. He is a self-made DJ and Photographer, who also teaches Zumba. Michael is the perfect complement to his partner and wife, Melissa. Together the couple share a flair for fun and music, and whatever skill one doesn't possess, the other does. Michael has a one-of-a-kind personality, which makes him an excellent emcee, and his dancing can't be beat!

Marty is the company's Head of Billing and Accounts Receivable, who helped design the office for Creative Events and its sister company, Creative Cardio/Music in Motion back in 2010. His extensive office experience and knowledge of software along with his creative touch have been a great asset to both the company owners and the clients. Although his main function is to collect the money, Marty has such a friendly and patient personality that the client will enjoy working with Creative Events from the day the contract is signed. Marty has been a family friend of Michael and Melissa Thomas since childhood. The staff is comprised of only relatives and family friends so that emotional attachment remains the driving incentive for success.
