Worst planner ever!
DO NOT USE THIS PLANNER!! NOT TRUSTWORTHY!!
I flew down from Canada for my best friends wedding! Watching the bride cry more tears of sadness on her wedding day. Plus seeing her cry everyday after to the present hurts my heart.
This proclaimed planner is unprofessional, does not pay her vendors, charges for things in a budget that never happen plus more. Get receipts for everything! NEVER EVER PAY CASH!! When she says it's a family business, don't be fooled. They have a staff of her, her husband, a minor, her daughter and her daughter's boyfriend! Also when she says has catering, DJ, hair and makeup covered...expect to be disappointed! Her daughter is not a licensed stylist and is not worth the money. Her daughter is the DJ too...3 speakers and a laptop with her just pressing play is not a DJ service of $500! The bartender is her husband that has no idea what he's doing. I work in the bar industry and his poor presentation and knowledge was hideous! Oh and by they way...the wedding planner was organizing and ordering the liquor during the rehearsal dinner!! There were specific liquors requested earlier in the planning process to have them as they were for a signature drink! The night of the wedding when I asked for the liquor to make the drink, his response was...we couldn't find it! Wow...no notification to the bride or groom at all this liquor wasn't found. And then I thought, of course they couldn't find it because they dealt with the liquor order less than 24 hrs before the wedding! What a joke! On top of that, the GROOM had to leave during pictures to get more booze because she said they ran out! You can't tell me with roughly 80, if that, guests drinking out of 120 that in 1 hr they went through over $800 in booze! It wasn't a great party...it was a family wedding. So, I find that very hard to believe! Her child and daughters boyfriend dressed extremely casual, were left tend to 120 people?! There were no water jugs on tables, coffee or tea not even cups to use to get water...NOTHING! The food that was served was over 2 hours late! I personally did not eat it. As for the guests who did, commented that it was cold, flavorless and burnt! I did take pictures and the food provided would have fed 30 people. Also, where I'm from you have to be licensed and meet food and safety standards set out by the state, city or province. I can guarantee she did not meet any health or safe food handling standards at all! Other things to add to this horrible experience, decor was way below par, limo service never came, rehearsal dinner was late and food was tasteless and cold. When the bride arrived in Kansas she had to find and pay for a whole new venue! Why, you may ask... because the wedding planner didn't even go look at the original venue! The original venue...just by walking into it you could see there was no way it was going to be able to fit 120 people with tables in it!
If I could rate this planner as a zero or negative number I would. I feel so sad for my best friends that they worked so hard and put all their trust into this lady! I could rant more about this hideous planner but that would be a novel! I just want people to be aware of her and not be taken for granted or have their event ruined! This wedding planner has no sense of time management, professionalism, gave a ton of excuses, did not execute, did not try to correct any issue that arose, definitely does not go the extra mile and ruined a special day my best friends will NEVER get back!
