    Best choice I could have made

    I wasn't really sure I needed a planner. I met with Mrs. Oliver and in the first few minutes I realized not only all the things I knew had to be done but a lot of things I didn't even think about.
    After just a few minutes I was relaxed, and confident about planning my day.

    I was able to tell Angelia everything I wanted for my day, and she very quickly knew what I wanted. She did all the leg work and I got to do all the fun things like tasting the food and cake!
    She was very easy to get along with and she saved me stress, headache, a lot of time and money. The coolest thing was she took my ideas and gave me more than I ever could have imagined.
    She's is amazingly creative and our day couldn't have gone any better.

    My day was everything I could have imagined!

    Just amazing!
    I felt at ease and so much less stressed in the first 15 minutes of our consultation!
    She was there for me even when I just needed an ear!

    I could not have had a better, more organized, and fun day.

    Stressful experience

    When we started planning for our engagement party this team seemed like the right fit. She responded very quickly to messages, gave us a quote, assured us that she had everything in control, told us that she was able to handle an event with 400+ people. Everything was great up until the day of the event. We booked our venue for 1.5 days. The team had about 20 hours to decorate the whole hall. We had asked to have everything ready by 3pm so the bride and groom could take pictures at the venue. When we got there at 3pm the stage was not set and half the chairs did not have covers on them. My extended family had to step in and finish the decor before the event. We didn’t get to start our photoshoot until late! We had paid our photographer for the 2 hours of time that we lost. We had allocated time to take pictures with the bride and grooms family which we did not get. Guests started arriving and it ruined the times we had set for each thing. On top of that she didn’t even do the backdrop d decorations like we asked for. We had shown reference pictures and a color scheme. We asked for a flower arch that was white, pink, and purple. She made most of it green with some white and purple. There was supposed to be purple and white draping behind the arch! She ended up not doing any draping besides the white drapes that were covering all the walls at the venue! Also she told us she was going to bring extra staff to help with the event and they never showed up. We had to find help from the venue last minute. We had paid her in advance for the extra staff, and their hotel rooms. We never got our money back. For tables, last minute she told us she didn’t have the colored napkins we wanted for half the tables we had paid for this already. We didn’t get the money for that back. She got a lot done for us at the beginning when it came to answering questions but I was very disappointed with the end result. There was a lot of stress the day of the event. I ended up having a great time because I let it go and just enjoyed being around family but if it wasn’t for the extra help from my family we would have not been ready for the event! We paid way more than we should have for what we received!

    A headache

    I previously had written a glowing review about this lady as I had thought everything was as it seems but over the last week it has come to light that a lot of my payments to vendors had not been paid. I'm currently out quite a bit of money and am in danger of not even receiving my pictures because of bounced checks and general missed payments. It has been the most stressful week of my life and I feel like I failed all of these vendors who are just trying to get what they are do. As of right now, I would not recommend Angela and will continue to not recommend her unless things drastically change and she pays everyone she owes money too.

    Horrible experience

    Literally left our bride scrambling with no food for her reception for two hours! 2 weeks prior to the wedding the time of arrival for food was setup, with emails to back that up.
    The day of the wedding not only were they two hours late, they wouldn’t answer their phone or messages so the bride was forced to come up with a plan B. So to insure that guests had something to eat, pizza was ordered. Right before the pizza arrived, the caterer (owners husband) shows up (2 hours late) and didn’t even have the decency to try and make it right.
    After a pretty heated discussion, they finally unloaded food to set up.
    And the best part was that it was if they ran by Walmart to pick up food. Literally some of the food was right out of a Great Value wrapping.
    Do yourself a favor and don’t waste your time or money with these people. The last thing they should be trusted with is the biggest day of someone’s life!
    Oh and if you look at the reviews, the only 5 star reviews are from the owners!!

    Heartbreaking

    I was a guest at one of the weddings Mrs. Oliver was paid to manage pretty much every detail of. Simply put, I wouldn’t Even want her planning My 3year olds birthday. Unbelievably unprofessional. Announcing to guests that they drank all the alcoholic beverages way too fast, when really it was not enough for 20 people, let alone 120 people. The food was embarrassingly sparse with no serving utensils. I felt so sad for the bride and groom. The lack of planning, lack of help/staff, lack of integrity, lack of taste/class, and really just overall lack of professionalism unfortunately left no real recovery for this bride and groom’s day. I had a hard time keeping back tears just because I knew how hard the couple was trying to keep it together, when their perfect day was being absolutely tarnished by a company that over promised and under delivered.

    Worst Wedding Experience

    Imagine coming from another country《Canada》only to witness a Brides worst Nightmare! Betrayal of trust all her money went to this planner only to be slapped in the face with no professional services scammed of her money and all wedding plans ruined, decor taken down asked for tuxedos of the groomsmen to be returned during reception food was not served and was burnt! Bride spent her 1 in a Lifetime special day in tears was so upsetting and hurtful this needs to be fixed and resolved ASAP no business can continue with this kind of cruelty and no remorse for what had occurred if the media needs be involved than so be it!! I would not wish this kind service on my worst enemy!

    Worst planner ever!

    DO NOT USE THIS PLANNER!! NOT TRUSTWORTHY!!

    I flew down from Canada for my best friends wedding! Watching the bride cry more tears of sadness on her wedding day. Plus seeing her cry everyday after to the present hurts my heart.

    This proclaimed planner is unprofessional, does not pay her vendors, charges for things in a budget that never happen plus more. Get receipts for everything! NEVER EVER PAY CASH!! When she says it's a family business, don't be fooled. They have a staff of her, her husband, a minor, her daughter and her daughter's boyfriend! Also when she says has catering, DJ, hair and makeup covered...expect to be disappointed! Her daughter is not a licensed stylist and is not worth the money. Her daughter is the DJ too...3 speakers and a laptop with her just pressing play is not a DJ service of $500! The bartender is her husband that has no idea what he's doing. I work in the bar industry and his poor presentation and knowledge was hideous! Oh and by they way...the wedding planner was organizing and ordering the liquor during the rehearsal dinner!! There were specific liquors requested earlier in the planning process to have them as they were for a signature drink! The night of the wedding when I asked for the liquor to make the drink, his response was...we couldn't find it! Wow...no notification to the bride or groom at all this liquor wasn't found. And then I thought, of course they couldn't find it because they dealt with the liquor order less than 24 hrs before the wedding! What a joke! On top of that, the GROOM had to leave during pictures to get more booze because she said they ran out! You can't tell me with roughly 80, if that, guests drinking out of 120 that in 1 hr they went through over $800 in booze! It wasn't a great party...it was a family wedding. So, I find that very hard to believe! Her child and daughters boyfriend dressed extremely casual, were left tend to 120 people?! There were no water jugs on tables, coffee or tea not even cups to use to get water...NOTHING! The food that was served was over 2 hours late! I personally did not eat it. As for the guests who did, commented that it was cold, flavorless and burnt! I did take pictures and the food provided would have fed 30 people. Also, where I'm from you have to be licensed and meet food and safety standards set out by the state, city or province. I can guarantee she did not meet any health or safe food handling standards at all! Other things to add to this horrible experience, decor was way below par, limo service never came, rehearsal dinner was late and food was tasteless and cold. When the bride arrived in Kansas she had to find and pay for a whole new venue! Why, you may ask... because the wedding planner didn't even go look at the original venue! The original venue...just by walking into it you could see there was no way it was going to be able to fit 120 people with tables in it!


    If I could rate this planner as a zero or negative number I would. I feel so sad for my best friends that they worked so hard and put all their trust into this lady! I could rant more about this hideous planner but that would be a novel! I just want people to be aware of her and not be taken for granted or have their event ruined! This wedding planner has no sense of time management, professionalism, gave a ton of excuses, did not execute, did not try to correct any issue that arose, definitely does not go the extra mile and ruined a special day my best friends will NEVER get back!

    She is a thief

    Do not use this lady I have been scammed out of $1250. I am dealing with the police and news about this.

    Mrs. Oliver's Weddings has worked with this client for over 8 months.
    She requested a phone conversation I notified her that due to some personal issues I was unavailable until the following day.
    Within 10 minutes of the notification of my unavailability for the day, this client began a barrage of threatening messages that I was a thief, she was calling the police, suing me, and going to begin a campaign of defaming my company.
    I'm not sure if this client was having a bad day but I could not work with this type of working relationship.
    I terminated the contract with this client a refund for any amount owed was made.

    I wish this client all the happiness in the world and a beautiful wedding.
