Best DJ Ever!

Jesse was awesome at our wedding! He was always willing to help and put so much thought, time, & care into making sure our special day went smoothly! He is so full of energy & fun! All of our guests had so much fun dancing the night away. He goes above & beyond for his couples & we would definitely recommend him as a DJ for any event! Best day ever!

What a blast!

Jay DJ'ed our wedding back in May and we really enjoyed working with him. Prior to the wedding, he sent over a long list of song recommendations for every part of the wedding that required a song choice. It was very helpful. He also made sure we had a meeting to go over how we wanted to be announced and how to pronounce each person's name which we appreciated. Jay does the DJ'ing, but he brought along an MC too, who did a great job with the announcements and an even better job at pumping up the party. The energy was so high all night long. I also booked their photobooth service, which I found to be priced better than other ones I looked at. I'm told the photobooth did malfunction at some point during the reception, but they were able to fix the issue early on. Overall, Jay and his team did a great job!

Had Is Dancing the Whole Night!

I wanted to surprise my wife for her 40th birthday and Jesse helped me plan it all out. Played a great introduction song when we all yelled SURPRISE! Had a live band for dinner and he was able to play in between breaks to build the momentum for the evening. For being a Sunday, he immediately had my whole family dancing, even my brother who never dances! My family loved how he played all kinds of different music and kept the excitement going all night. Have hired him for my son’s bay shower and a gender reveal for my nephew. Can’t say enough good things about him. A definite must hire and is now our very own family DJ. I won’t hire anyone else.

Don’t Look Elsewhere!

Best DJ I ever gotten. Real professional and had a nice setup. Knows how to spin the music and get people up to dance and have a good time! Made a custom monogram and surprised my parents for their 50th Wedding Anniversary! Would definitely hire him again.

It was outstanding! Could not if asked for more.

MR.Junk did an amazing job that was on par with high profile DJ. He has an assortment of technology that really created a unique effect that was far above that I would of anticipated. He also helped with coordinating and is a true professional down the the smallest details. If you need a DJ that is truly beyond your expectations, I highly recommend you give him a call to make your event even more special.

An Extraordinary DJ

Jesse was a great choice as our wedding DJ. He went above and beyond. He made our special day. Everyone enjoyed his music but also the little surprise he spun in there. He met with us serval times before the rehearsal dinner to giver the wedding and how everything was going to play out. He also helped give us a visual of what lights he was going to use and how he could make everything look amazing. Our wedding was an backyard wedding and he made it feel like a club outside. He worked well with our other vendors as well, making sure to communicate with each one so that everyone was on the same page. I would Definitely say Jesse was more than just our DJ he was like our wedding planner helping out with the whole party structure and that took a whole headache off of our shoulders. Highly recommended him. Best DJ EVER!!!

This review is long overdue and would like to thank J-Funk entertainment. DJ Jesse was very professional and kept in touch prior to our event. Jesse read the crowd and kept everyone dancing on the dance floor. We had a blast, loved the music, vibes and received many compliments from our guests on how much fun they had. I would HIGHLY recommend Jesse and look forward to having him as our DJ at our next event!

Covid Wedding rescue

We lost our DJ and photographer three days before the wedding due to Covid. Jessie met us in under 24 hours to help us save the day. Then the day before the wedding despite being fully vaccinated the groom got Covid seven days later the bride got Covid Jessie was compassionate and flexible and working with us to change dates three times.Jesse was able to not only find music that we wanted without the lyrics and take the lyrics out so we had the music so our singer could sing the song but made the music custom tailored to our intimate needs in a professional effortless way we highly recommend Jessie for your wedding or any venue that’s important to you he truly cares.
