I first met Michelle at a Mammoth Mountain Wedding Gala and after having the chance to try her lemon lavender cupcakes and pie bars, my husband and I were sold! We knew we had to have Mountain Cakery for our wedding and it was a great choice! The service was great and Michelle was so flexible with us rescheduling our wedding date when COVID hit. On the day of our wedding, our wedding cake looked beautiful and our dessert bar was a hit! Overall, we had a great experience and I cannot recommend Mountain Cakery enough!

Michelle was super responsive and professional throughout the changing situation that led up to our micro wedding during a pandemic. She not only eased our concerns for transporting the cake, but it was absolutely delicious (as were the cupcakes and strawberries!) and looked gorgeous with the flowers from Red Lily Design.

I had to cancel my original wedding plans due to COVID 19 and I needed a wedding cake last minute for my plan B elopement. Michelle responded right away and was able to make my cake with only a weeks notice. She was more than willing to accommodate and was extremely flexible with all my needs. The cake was gorgeous and service was exceptional!!!

We ordered a small cake, lots of mini cupcakes, and lemon squares from Michelle. Cake tasting was so much fun! Michelle organized a tasting with about 10 different flavors of mini cupcakes. After trying so many amazing flavors we decided on blackberry vanilla for our small cake. Michelle recommended that we have mini cupcakes in the same flavor of the wedding cake so everyone can enjoy our wedding cake flavor. It was a fantastic recommendation and all our guests loved being able to try our cake flavor! We ended up having a wonderful array of flavors including; blackberry vanilla, vanilla, and chocolate salted caramel mini cupcakes! They were all so delicious. On the day of our wedding Michelle coordinated the flawless set up and the gorgeous arrangement.

We LOVED the dessert table at our wedding! Michelle did an amazing job with our 2-tier cake and variety of mini cupcakes and creme puffs! We had so many compliments, and our guests loved the dessert!
We had the best experience with Michelle! She actually created a cake flavor for us that wasn’t already on her website. My husband is Filipino and we both love Ubé cake! It’s a deep purple color that is made from ubé which is a purple yam. (Kind of like Taro). It’s richer than vanilla cake but not quite as rich as chocolate. She made it with a coconut buttercream frosting! It was heaven in your mouth! Even our family from the Philippines said how good it tasted, just like at “home”! It even made it onto Mountain Cakery’s website as a flavor option! You have to try it!
We did an aspen tree looking design on our wedding cake! It absolutely beautiful! We even got to enjoy some left over mini cupcakes the next day.
If you’re getting married in the Mammoth area, Michelle is the BEST!

Michelle is amazing! She is so great to work with, and talented isn't a strong enough word for the edible art that she creates. I have never had a more delicious cake, and pairing it with the miniature cupcakes and pies was so much fun. The flavors were absolutely incredible, and everything was stunningly beautiful. Our guests are still talking about how delicious everything was. Thank you, Michelle, for making such a big part of our day so magical!

Michelle was kind, responsive and so easy to work with! Her desserts were all amazing and she did a beautiful job arranging our dessert table. We ordered her cookies, pie bars, mini-cupcakes and our amazing blueberry, lavender wedding cake. I would absolutely recommend Michelle and her desserts for your wedding or special event!

I'm not sure I'll be able to wait a year to eat the top of our wedding cake, it was SOOOO good!! Michelle is amazing! We absolutely loved working with her for our wedding. We even ended up using Michelle for some desserts for our rehearsal dinner, too. Every flavor we tried during our tasting was mind blowing, and the outcome of our cake blew our minds. It was perfect. We loved working with Mountain Cakery! Her cakes are beautiful and delicious! She made the entire process from reserving the date to day-of delivery extremely simple! Our cake had a an incredible mountain design with VERY real looking aspen leaves, it was just perfect!

Michelle is wonderful. We met with her and tried samples and went through the process of selecting our flavors and design. When I saw the cake I didn't want to eat it. It was the birch tree look and it was a piece of art. I knew that we had to cut into it and eventually devoured it because it was to good. I loved the cake because it tied in with our wedding location and it wasn't standard. She really thinks outside of the box and it works. We now have a year to look forward to our top tier!
