Allison made us an incredible cake — it was beautiful AND delicious. Wedding cake tasting was a delicious highlight of the planning process, and Allison is such an artist, we loved how it turned out!

Lake Tahoe Cakes is amazing. We booked them for our wedding in September and were blown away with the cake.
They were super easy and fun to work with. We had initially gone for a tasting where we met Allison and talked more details. We had so much fun trying all the flavors and chatting. We had initially walked away thinking we were going to do a smaller cake and a dessert bar and when the wedding got closer we totally switched to doing a 4 tier cake! That is a big change and they were so accommodating and patient with us. Our correspondence was mostly all through email and they are always very responsive.

The dessert bites from Lake Tahoe Cakes for our wedding were absolutely delicious! Our guests couldn't stop complimenting the variety and flavors of each treat. The standout favorites were definitely the s'mores bites and the strawberry shortcake cups—they were a huge hit!

Lake Tahoe Cakes also did an exceptional job with delivery and setting up the display for the dessert bar, making everything look as amazing as it tasted. We couldn't be happier with our experience and highly recommend them for any event!

Lake Tahoe cakes was an excellent choice! Everything was so beautiful and delicious! We opted for 3 flavor combinations a lemon cake and blueberries filling, a chocolate cake and brown sugar buttercream and raspberry jam, and a apricot jam almond cake with almond frosting. All three were amazing.... I'll admit it... I opted to eat all three!

They also made beautiful French macarons for our wedding favors. So delicious as well!

Allison did an incredible job bringing our small cake and dessert bar to life! We wanted a fairly minimalist cake, and what she brought to life was exactly like the inspiration photo we shared. We received nothing but positive compliments on the desserts, especially the tiramisu jars! Everything was absolutely delicious, and we highly recommend Lake Tahoe Cakes for your big day.

They created the the 3 tiered cake of mt dreams! I would choose them over and over again. Best of the best in the Tahoe region

We cannot recommend this *sweet* bakery in South Lake Tahoe enough. My husband and I planned a destination wedding and relied heavily on online reviews and social media accounts to make our decision. Lake Tahoe Cakes not only produces absolutely gorgeous desserts, they are incredibly tasty, too. We decided to do a small cake for cutting and focus on a spread of dessert treats for our wedding sweets. EVERYTHING was devoured. After sharing the first bite of our cake cutting, my husband stood there and continued to feed each other the slice of cake (it was too good to put down). We also ordered the bakery's adorable Lake Tahoe cookie with a red heart stamped on it, honoring our wedding location for our welcome bags. Again, they were delighted by all our guests. This bakery is easy to work with (I changed my cake design at least three times :)) and beyond delicious. You can't go wrong!

My husband and I got married in a fairly small ceremony in Lake Tahoe this June. For our reception we knew we didn't want a traditional huge cake, but still wanted something special to mark the occasion. Lake Tahoe Cakes helped us to create a beautiful cupcake display that was such a hit with our guests. The cake flavors they offered are classic, but really tasty and trust me there was not a single cupcake left over. I will be buying our one year anniversary cake from them for sure!

We hired Lake Tahoe Cakes to serve our wedding in the North Lake Tahoe area and she was the right choice.
