  The most gorgeous and best-tasting wedding cake ever

  Michelle was super responsive and professional throughout the changing situation that led up to our micro wedding during a pandemic. She not only eased our concerns for transporting the cake, but it was absolutely delicious (as were the cupcakes and strawberries!) and looked gorgeous with the flowers from Red Lily Design.

  Great experience!!

  I first met Michelle at a Mammoth Mountain Wedding Gala and after having the chance to try her lemon lavender cupcakes and pie bars, my husband and I were sold! We knew we had to have Mountain Cakery for our wedding and it was a great choice! The service was great and Michelle was so flexible with us rescheduling our wedding date when COVID hit. On the day of our wedding, our wedding cake looked beautiful and our dessert bar was a hit! Overall, we had a great experience and I cannot recommend Mountain Cakery enough!

  Wonderful vendor and yummiest desserts!

  Michelle was kind, responsive and so easy to work with! Her desserts were all amazing and she did a beautiful job arranging our dessert table. We ordered her cookies, pie bars, mini-cupcakes and our amazing blueberry, lavender wedding cake. I would absolutely recommend Michelle and her desserts for your wedding or special event!

  Delicious Desserts

  We ordered a small cake, lots of mini cupcakes, and lemon squares from Michelle. Cake tasting was so much fun! Michelle organized a tasting with about 10 different flavors of mini cupcakes. After trying so many amazing flavors we decided on blackberry vanilla for our small cake. Michelle recommended that we have mini cupcakes in the same flavor of the wedding cake so everyone can enjoy our wedding cake flavor. It was a fantastic recommendation and all our guests loved being able to try our cake flavor! We ended up having a wonderful array of flavors including; blackberry vanilla, vanilla, and chocolate salted caramel mini cupcakes! They were all so delicious. On the day of our wedding Michelle coordinated the flawless set up and the gorgeous arrangement.

  Insanely Delicious and Beautiful!

  Michelle is amazing! She is so great to work with, and talented isn't a strong enough word for the edible art that she creates. I have never had a more delicious cake, and pairing it with the miniature cupcakes and pies was so much fun. The flavors were absolutely incredible, and everything was stunningly beautiful. Our guests are still talking about how delicious everything was. Thank you, Michelle, for making such a big part of our day so magical!

  Ubé cake!!!!

  We LOVED the dessert table at our wedding! Michelle did an amazing job with our 2-tier cake and variety of mini cupcakes and creme puffs! We had so many compliments, and our guests loved the dessert!
  We had the best experience with Michelle! She actually created a cake flavor for us that wasn’t already on her website. My husband is Filipino and we both love Ubé cake! It’s a deep purple color that is made from ubé which is a purple yam. (Kind of like Taro). It’s richer than vanilla cake but not quite as rich as chocolate. She made it with a coconut buttercream frosting! It was heaven in your mouth! Even our family from the Philippines said how good it tasted, just like at “home”! It even made it onto Mountain Cakery’s website as a flavor option! You have to try it!
  We did an aspen tree looking design on our wedding cake! It absolutely beautiful! We even got to enjoy some left over mini cupcakes the next day.
  If you’re getting married in the Mammoth area, Michelle is the BEST!

  We love Mountain Cakery!

  We loved working with Mountain Cakery! Her cakes are beautiful and delicious! She made the entire process from reserving the date to day-of delivery extremely simple! Our cake had a an incredible mountain design with VERY real looking aspen leaves, it was just perfect!

  Best cake EVER!!!

  I'm not sure I'll be able to wait a year to eat the top of our wedding cake, it was SOOOO good!! Michelle is amazing! We absolutely loved working with her for our wedding. We even ended up using Michelle for some desserts for our rehearsal dinner, too. Every flavor we tried during our tasting was mind blowing, and the outcome of our cake blew our minds. It was perfect.   I didn't want to eat the cake, But I did, and it was delicious

  Michelle is wonderful. We met with her and tried samples and went through the process of selecting our flavors and design. When I saw the cake I didn't want to eat it. It was the birch tree look and it was a piece of art. I knew that we had to cut into it and eventually devoured it because it was to good. I loved the cake because it tied in with our wedding location and it wasn't standard. She really thinks outside of the box and it works. We now have a year to look forward to our top tier!

  Michelle was very helpful through getting our cake! She has a specific timeline for when changes can be made and emailed us reminders which is helpful when you are getting close to the day! She also assisted us in changing the design so it would look the best. Our cake was delicious and beautiful. We had two tiers, one chocolate hazelnut and the other blackberry vanilla. They were both great and went over with all the guests! This was definitely a cake to remember. We have friends getting married at at different area of the state who are having trouble picking a cakery because they loved ours. Michelle had the cake there before we arrived at the reception and the rental process (for the wood round) was very easy. We just cleaned it and dropped it off the next day. She also leaves a box for any leftover pieces :) I also posted this review to yelp.

  Mountain Cakery makes dessert dreams come true.

  Working with Mountian Cakery was a delight from start to finish. Not only was our cake DELICIOUS but it was equally BEAUTIFUL. My fiancé and I instantly agreed on our favorite flavor and were also able to make selections from a large list for our dessert bar (for those who aren’t into cake).

  Amazingly delicious and beautiful desserts!

  Perfect cake for our morning wedding in Yosemite

  Michelle was absolutely fantastic to work with, and we (myself, my husband, and our guests) are still drooling / dreaming about our wedding cake and the delicious raspberry pie bars. We had an early sunrise wedding at Tenaya Lake, and Michelle worked with us to craft the most perfect breakfast inspired cake. It looked beautiful, and tasted absolutely exquisite. Not only that, but she was so accommodating and helpful in planning for our 6:30am event. Thank you so much, Michelle - James and I were so thrilled with the cake and working with you! We can't wait for an anniversary trip to the Mammoth / Yosemite area so we can order another cake and some treats to celebrate :)

  As I was planning my Yosemite elopement, I knew it was important for me to have a wedding cake. My now husband and I both being vegan, we were seeking out a vegan cake and we encountered many roadblocks in our way - many vendors weren't accommodating to that or didn't even know what it means. Finally, I was lucky enough to find Michelle and Mountain Cakery! perhaps not the first choice for a Yosemite delivery, but Michelle was willing to deliver our cake all the way there making our elopement complete.
  As the Yosemite fires broke out, she was also kind enough to check on our plans (luckily, none had to change!) and even offered a full refund including our deposit which I never expected. She also made a few changes to our cake past the allowed change time in the contract which I so appreciated.
  The delivery was seamless and overall Mountain Cakery gave us a great experience. As for the cake itself, the unique offered flavors of lavender and blueberry were just as I imagined and the taste was as good as the beauty of the cake.

  My husband and I met Michelle at a wedding gala in Mammoth and loved her samples so much!! We knew we had to have her make the desserts for our wedding. We decided to have a small sweetheart cake that was a chocolate cake and mocha filling and it was soooo yummy!!!! We also had chocolate covered strawberries, raspberry pie bars, lemon puffs and mini red velvet cupcakes. Everything was so delicious and eaten by the end of the night. Michelle was so professional and easy to work with. We brought our own cake topper and left it at the venue for her to place into the cake...it looked amazing!! You can't go wrong choosing Mountain Cakery for your wedding day!

  My husband and I met Michelle at a wedding gala in Mammoth and loved her samples so much!! We knew we had to have her make the desserts for our wedding. We decided to have a small sweetheart cake that was a chocolate cake and mocha filling and it was soooo yummy!!!!   Michelle was wonderful to work with! She created a lovely dessert table and our wedding cake was so beautiful, I didn't want to cut into it :) Along with everything being visually appealing, the desserts tasted great as well. My guests devoured everything. I love that Michelle was able to accommodate my gluten free guests as well.

  Michelle was FANTASTIC to work with! She was totally happy to make us a fun-fetti cake (my husband's only request for our wedding) and it was delicious!
  All our guests commented on it being the only good wedding cake they had ever had (would highly recommend going frosting instead of fondant-although I'm sure she could also make this taste delicious). She knows the flower ladies in town as well so if you are looking for a flower-decorated cake it will be done flawlessly and without any effort on your part. We all ate leftover cake for several days (including what my husband called 'breakfast cake' the morning after our wedding) and it held up very well. I don't think we'll be able to resist saving the top for our first anniversary because we'll want to devour it.
  I'll be sure to add some photos when they come in - but it was picture-perfect. We had a delicious cake that fed 200 people for a VERY reasonable price in a small town!

  Our cake and mini cupcakes were delicious. By the end of the night we had hardly any left as our guests kept going for seconds. Beautiful presentation and so easy to work with. The desserts and cake were there on time looking wonderful.

Everything tasted so good that there was nothing left by the end of the evening. The price was also incredibly reasonable. Our experience with Mountain Cakery was so good, that we used them again for our sons 1st birthday.
