I just want brides to proceed with caution if you order a CUSTOM dress from this store. PLEASE make sure the sales associate takes detailed pictures of you in the dress AFTER you have had it pinned where it needs taking in, changing, etc. Make sure every change is written down and that they give you a copy of every note taken on changes, etc. I had a certain dress made in a different fabric. The sales associate helped us change a lot of details of the dress i.e. making the back lower, moving the straps up drastically, making the bottom less full, etc. I took pictures after it was changed, so I knew exactly what it was supposed to look like. Few of these changes were done when I received the dress. I was never given a copy of the detailed changes, nor were any pictures taken of me in the dress or any of the changes made by the associate. I am now having to pay a huge amount of money for alterations (basically redesigning the gown) to get it to where it was supposed to be when I initially ordered it. The owner has also threatened to file a lawsuit against me because I wrote my honest review on Google.. I am so blown away at the lack of caring for the customer. I just want all brides that are considering purchasing a CUSTOM dress from here, know that if anything goes wrong, they will more than likely not help you out and then threaten you if you do try to stand up to them and make it RIGHT and share your honest experience with others. If you are purchasing an exact sample dress, the process might be a little easier, but if you plan to make detailed changes at all, PLEASE ask the associate to take notes, pictures, and give you a written copy of all the changes that you want. I wish I would have purchased from Blue Belle or Ivory & Beau. My wedding dress experience is ruined . :(
