Norah truly went above and beyond for our wedding! We knew Norah was the right DJ for us the first time we met with her based on how relaxed and confident she made us feel. Her organization was top-notch, and communication was always prompt and easy. She used an app that helped keep us organized and think through things we weren't even aware of. She herself was especially organized on the timeline of the day, and also had great musical instincts to help us fill in the blanks as we aren't the biggest music people. All the music from pre-ceremony through cocktail hour and dinner, and most importantly, dancing was great.

The day of the wedding Norah proved how organized and flexible she was. She handled all the technical aspects of multiple microphones and music cues superbly. Then things turned sideways when our venue lost power before the dancing, but Norah kicked into high gear, using a Bluetooth speaker to play our first dance, and then plugging into a power bank to get the big speakers going so we could dance and party in the dark. It turned into a magical and memorable wedding, and Norah rolled with the punches so well that we hardly minded the power outage. She truly went above and beyond to make our night special. 10/10 would recommend!

Nora went above and beyond as our wedding DJ for our November 2025 celebration! From start to finish, she was absolutely incredible. She arrived early to our venue, brought all the equipment needed for our ceremony, and even worked with our officiant to make sure the sound and microphone setup were just right.
Nora made sure every “must-have” song on our list was included, and she went the extra mile to track down some lesser-known artists that were really special to us, including our first dance song, which meant the world.

NORAH BRINGS THE PARTY!! When I tell you we didn't leave the dance floor all night, I mean we did not leave the dance floor all night. We missed our dessert table, skipped our grand exit photos, missed saying bye to a bunch of people because we were having so much fun. Norah understood the assignment and played all the right songs. She was very easy to work with and helped sculpt the soundtrack of our day. You will love her positive, up-beat attitude and she is an excellent resource for creating the timeline of your day. We are so glad we had Norah from Modern DJs at our wedding! With 85 guests and both the ceremony and reception in the same space, she kept everything organized and flowing without a hitch. Her planning process made things so easy—she really listened to our must-plays, don’t-plays, and overall vision, and absolutely nailed it. Norah was extremely easy to work with and we came away thrilled we chose her as our DJ.
