Modern Design is a manufacturer and wholesaler of diamond jewelry. Modern Design has been in business since 1978 and is a proud member of The Jewelers Board of Trade. We have wholesaled our fine line of jewelry to retail stores out of state and now we offer our line directly to the public at the same wholesale prices. We have 3 convenient locations in Southern California. Our main location is located in Downtown Los Angeles. This facility is the main location for our wholesale and manufacturing. For those of you that want to avoid downtown Los Angeles, we offer 2 locations in the South Bay.
We specialize in quality workmanship with top quality diamonds and metals. We manufacture in 14 karat white and yellow gold, 18 karat white and yellow gold, platinum, and titanium. We have a large selection of EGL and GIA certified diamonds. Round Brilliant Diamonds, Princess Cut Diamonds, Marquise Diamonds, Oval Diamonds, Asser Cut Diamonds, and Cushon Cut Diamonds. All of our diamonds are either "Ideal Cut" or "Premium Cut". We carry from .01 carat to 8 carat in these shapes. Also we have a large selection of fancy yellow wholesale diamonds. We manufacture diamond engagement rings, men's and ladies diamond wedding bands, men's and ladies plain wedding bands. We offer custom matching wedding bands and also a wide service of custom works. All of our designs can be manufactured in your choice of metal and diamond.
We also offer a selection of diamond stud earrings with your choice of size, shape and quality of diamonds. Call us for a free quote. My ring was a doozy. I had a vintage engagement ring that I needed a matching wedding band for. I had an inherited ring that had all the components and none of the pizazz, so Eric and his brother were able to take the materials from it and redesign it into two flanking rings for my engagement ring that have some serious WOW factor. When I asked, they even added additional engraving on the side of both wedding rings to match my engagement ring. Again, no extra charge, just determined to get it right.
There's a lot of pressure in the ring-buying process. There's a lot of money, and in this case, the fear that melting down a family heirloom would end in disaster. Usually that's compounded by sleazy salespeople who really want to max out your credit card more than your happiness. Eric and his brother were absolute professionals, their workshop is a serene, professional place and I felt that I could trust and be taken care of every step of the way.
We are SO happy with our rings and will definitely come back for any future jewelry.
