Services Offered
Mocha and Loft Photography covers approximately 12 weddings a year and Maddy has a particular penchant for intimate gatherings and destination weddings. This professional can join couples throughout their marital journey, from an initial engagement photoshoot to a concluding trash-the-dress session. She offers personal consultations over coffee or the phone to gain insight into her clients’ tastes and preferences. A second photographer can accompany her for special events and she can work additional hours if required. Afterward, she presents lifelong memories to newlyweds in the form of digital files, albums, and prints.

I couldn't speak more highly of Maddy and her work. I first came across her work on Weddingwire and checked out her instagram which is where I was totally convinced by her natural style. I loved her focus and use of light to find beauty in simple moments.
We spoke over the phone before confirming and I remember feeling like she definitely understood the kind of laid-back style we were hoping to have with our photos. Since we live in Spain and couldn't meet in person beforehand, she offered her whatsapp for us to chat and we got to know each other a bit better. Then, to get prepared before the wedding she visited the downtown Chicago venue and walked around the surrounding streets to find spots to take us. Rain eventually prevented us from going out on the street, but with a great idea of hers, we got a transparent umbrella and improvised on the hotel's balcony with beautiful results. Those are our favorite pictures in the end.
The day of the wedding she was so kind and attentive, but then most of the time when the craziness of the day got going, she was there to capture all little moments without us even realizing. We didn't want too many posed pictures and she worked so hard to get amazing shots of everyone enjoying the day.
By the morning after the wedding she already sent us a sneak peak of one of the edited photos, and later that night we had 10 photos in our email. The rest followed shortly (about 4-5 weeks later), uploaded to be accessed online. The final touch of turning in our photos sums up her personalized approach-- she sent us the USB with some amazing prints in a beautiful wooden box, engraved with our names and the wedding date.
All in all, simply amazing service. She works hard to get to know the people she's going to be capturing in her photos and definitely follows the style and ideas you have too. And what was probably most important--we felt so comfortable with her and she helped make the day just a bit easier.

So Talented! Would 100% hire again.
The talented Maddy took our engagement pictures last year. The whole shoot was relaxing and fun which made the whole experience enjoyable. The pictures turned out to be candid, incredible and very Us. No sight of those cheesy and awkward posses. If you are looking for a photographer for your big day Maddy will be your go to photographer. We all want the best for our big day, why settle for the second best.
