Hola a todos! Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by the MK Legacy Weddings & Events storefront. My name is Karina, founder of MK Legacy Events. We know weddings and any other special events are very personal and special moments in your lives and it would be an honor to work with you and make sure that you live these special moments to the fullest!
Many will wonder how I got started in this line of work. Well, I didn't just fall into it. I knew it was something I would love to do for the rest of my life. When I was attending The University of South Florida studying criminology about 3 years in and a job at a law firm, (yes 3 years and only one year left to complete my bachelors, I know crazy), I had a moment where I realized criminology was not my passion. I knew that my passion was in event planning. Why? Because any chance I got whether it be a friend or family getting married, baby shower, engagment party, birthday parties, I was ALWAYS the one they would call to help and the one that said HECK YES and I would always put my BEST foot forward! I decided not to quit school but to change my major and take on an unpaid internship with a well know company in Tampa. This was not just an internship to me this was, fun, exciting, well worth waking up at 5 am for. The team would have to make me go home after 16 hours days because I did not want to stop. I knew and so did they that I would one day have my own company! And thats when MK Legacy Events & Weddings was born.
We have learned through strategic partnerships, to be flexible and accommodating to each client’s unique wedding and special event planning needs and preferences.
