Marissa is a champion-8 bridesmaids and a bride and she did a killer job on all our makeup. We got so many compliments, and her work is definitely worth the little bit extra, so splurge. You deserve it. I could not have been happier with her work!

Marissa did our daughter wedding at Park Winters recently and as always she is amazing. The first thing you notice is how beautiful Marissa is. The second, she is a real sweetheart. Lastly her work is amazing and she can transform anyone into a beauty queen using their natural beauty.

Marissa is AMAZING! I actually found her on Instagram when my previous make up artist got booked up fast. She did exactly what I wanted and she really listens to you on what you want. All my bridesmaids looked so beautiful and natural, not too overdone, but still enough make up for gorgeous photos. She really knows how to contour and use colors to bring out nice features.

I first found Marissa's work on Instagram and thought, she does amazing work when I get married I'm defiantly going to be in contact with her to make me look amazing for such a special occasion. Little did I know within months I would be engaged and getting married the following year! Marissa was extremely sweet and so professional from the start! I was so glad I came across her work because she made me look so beautiful on the most important day of my life, my wedding day!! I was in dire need of a makeup artist for my wedding. I had done two trials with two separate "makeup artists" in town and was not blown away. I could do my makeup better, but I really didn't want to do it the day of my wedding. I came across Marissa on the VICI instagram, she had done the makeup on one of the models. I went to her instagram page to check out her work and was BLOWN AWAY!! I saw that she would travel and I assumed she was relatively close considering VICI is in Walnut Creek. I emailed her, a few times out of desperation, and told her about my horrible experiences etc. She was beyond sweet and we scheduled a trial. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she matched it perfectly! Her professionalism and calm demeanor is so refreshing. She gave me tips on how to hydrate my skin/lips and what to use so my skin would look that much better ( since makeup can only do so much.) What a difference in my skin! Just in 3 weeks my skin was noticeably more hydrated which made my makeup look that much better! All of my bridesmaids were so impressed with her and her obvious talent! I had people looking at my pictures from the wedding asking who did my makeup because they were so impressed! I couldn't have picked a better person or makeup artist to help me and my best girls get ready for the biggest day of my life!
My one friend, and my flower girls mom, was so impressed with her that we both scheduled a makeup lesson after the wedding. We learned so many new tricks! I feel so lucky to have found such an amazing artist and will continue to use her for any major event or when I need a refresher course in some makeup techniques ;)

After I got engaged the very first vendor I booked was my wonderful make-up artist Marissa! I knew right way she was the girl for the job and trust me ladies when I say book her as fast as you can! She is incredible and gets booked out far in advance! Looking and feeling my best on my wedding day was a priority for me which is why I booked her right away. She had become a friend after she had done my eyebrows (which is a specialty of hers and she is amazing). Her talent for make-up is beyond this world and she truly is an artist. It is unreal how she can can highlight your features to bring out your best qualities. She did my make up for both my engagement photos and wedding. Each look was very different and just what I wanted. I had a bridal party of 8 girls and every single girl loved their make-up! Her kit of make up is all great and high end products so remember you pay for quality and believe me when I tell you my make-up lasted all night despite a 100 degree outdoor ceremony. Marissa is one of the sweetest girls I know and her presence was calming and exactly what I needed on my big day. This isn't just a job to her, it's her passion and you can see it in her amazing work. Seriously ladies look no further, this girl is the best you will find!

We decided kind of last minute to move up our elopement, just six weeks to pull everything together! I contacted Marissa because I had seen her work on my FB feed and because she's local. She was able to fit me in for the trial and the wedding morning. She is really sweet and, you can tell, very passionate about her work. Watching her do my make-up was like watching a passionate painter work magic on a canvas! I showed her some pictures that I liked and she was able to give me a very similar look for both the trial and the wedding day. I was super impressed at how long the make-up lasted as well- my make-up was done around 9am and was still looking flawless for dinner at 9pm! I would definitely recommend Marissa and if I have other special events in the future I would definitely book her again.

I was the Matron of Honor in a wedding this past Saturday, Nov. 14th. First and foremost, Marissa showed up RIGHT on time which to me is a HUGE plus! Marissa has an amazing, light-hearted personality and great sense of humor but let's get to the REALLY important stuff; I showed Marissa a picture of what I wanted and she NAILED it!! She also informed me (and I totally get it) that I picked a "realistic" example and that she would be perfectly honest if it wasn't. I really appreciate that. I was absolutely amazed at how much of a transformation she made with me while still keeping it "me". She educated as she applied. I really enjoyed that aspect, as I really don't wear very much makeup at all and don't know a lot about it. My makeup stayed looking fresh a flawless all day and night. It still looked amazing when I got home at 11:30 pm that night and I was the first to be done at 8am!! The makeup looked light and fresh even in the natural light. My eyes have never looked so bright and beautiful! This woman knows her stuff and does an incredible job! I would recommend her highly to any bride-to-be, bride's maid or anyone looking for very special makeup for photos. Marissa is really the best of the best! Just minutes into my wedding trial appointment I knew I was booking her for my big day, before someone else stole her from me. I wanted a vintage glam look for my wedding, and Marissa gave me EXACTLY what I was imagining and more. She also did all my bridesmaids and moms make up as well. Everyone looked FLAWLESS! Marissa customized each girls eye shadow and lipstick to not only look good with their dresses but she picked colors that worked well with there individual features. and skin tones. I am so impressed with my whole experience with Marissa, that I now continue to see her as my make up artist , as well as other services she offers. I have referred all my friends to her and basically anyone who tell me they are getting married gets her contact info! She is just so wonderful at what she does, you will not be disappointed!
