About
Presiding over a wedding is one of the most sacred acts that I know. You are asking me to stand with you and affirm your love in front of your loved ones. I take this job very seriously and will put my heart and soul into creating the ceremony of your dreams.
I attended the Candler School of Theology at Emory University in Atlanta. I spent 3 years studying with top theologians from religions from all over the world. I studied Buddhism, Native American Spirituality, Christianity, Judaism, and learned how to integrate these spiritual practices into a wedding ceremony. 'Thanks Minister Deb for a wonderful and magical day!'
Jeniffer and JimmyYour ceremony can be completely non religious, it’s up to you. I am not affiliated with any specific religious doctrine. I’m ecumenical and believe that everyone has the right to practice whatever religion they choose, or no religion at all.
I earned my Doctorate Degree as well and wrote my dissertation on the positive effects that ceremonies have within a relationship. My research found that when couples have weddings are more likely to stay together longer, be happier and have more social support. Most of the couples I marry come from different religious backgrounds. I create the ceremony that expresses both backgrounds, regardless of faith.
