Mine Hill Distillery — located in Roxbury, Connecticut and serving clients in the Hartford and New Haven regions — is a 19th-century landmark destination, craft distillery, and wedding event venue. Facilities and Capacity
The property of Mine Hill Distillery is situated along the Shepaug River and includes a view of a dramatic waterfall, perfect for your wedding photography moments. It is also adjacent to a 360-acre nature preserve with hiking/biking trails and historic ruins. Tents of varying sizes can be placed on the property, and there is plenty of parking for guests as well as valet service.

Mine Hill Distillery also offers a number of event locations on their premises. An 1872 train station is the venue’s primary event space. This location blends an iconic exterior and striking interior design that highlights the era’s details with all modern conveniences. The Station offers a full bar, a sound system, two large bathrooms, and is ADA compliant. This building also has six doors that open onto a wrap-around porch, providing a covered outdoor space. The Station offers you the ability to erect a frame tent adjacent to the building, allowing you to further expand the capacity.

The Founders’ Room is another available space, located on the second floor of the Distillery. This intimate space can be utilized for a bridal party, a sophisticated bachelor’s evening, or an intimate space for a small rehearsal dinner or cocktail party. The stylish interior of The Founders’ Room features wide plank floors, a fireplace, 1790's wood paneling, two large cigar humidors, custom dining tables, and a seating area for guests. There is also an audio/visual system behind the birch bark wall.
