Imagine your wedding or special event on the grounds of gorgeous Mill Race Historic Village, nestled right in downtown Northville! The Village is surrounded on three sides by the Rouge River. So private and beautiful, you will think you're in the country! You may choose to marry in the circa 1845 Church or in the lovely large Gazebo! Or you may consider having your ceremony in one of the yards surrounding the lovely homes or near the River.
Church rentals include use of the Church and closing of the grounds to anyone other than your party and your guests.

Get married at Mill Race!
We are so happy that we chose Mill Race Village for our wedding ceremony. We planned to have our ceremony in front of the gazebo, but the weather had other plans. It was such a relief to have the chapel as our backup plan. The grounds are absolutely gorgeous and we got so many amazing photos that we will treasure for years to come. Plus, my husband’s parents got to recreate their wedding photo from 35 years prior! Wendy and Suemarie were great to work with and made the day-of decision to move the ceremony a breeze. We highly recommend having your wedding ceremony at Mill Race Village!
