Eliza and her team at Milk and Honey are amazing and I would recommend them to anyone. We hired Milk and Honey to cater both our rehearsal dinner and wedding. The food was amazing. For the rehearsal dinner, Eliza helped us create an upscale BBQ menu with brisket, shrimp and grits, amazing salads, cornbread, and tofu-skewers as a vegetarian option. It was all amazing. We had family from South Carolina who very impressed with the grits. Everyone raved about the tofu-skewers, even some of the southern devout carnivores. The deserts included some of the best ginger ice cream sandwiches I ever had. For the wedding, we used Milk and Honey's lobster bake menu. Eliza was awesome during the planning process - really listening to us and our desire for a laid back, relaxed wedding. We had whole lobsters, clams, mussels, corn and potatoes. Again, everything was awesome, especially the clams and mussels. They were devoured. I can't say enough about the food. It was all so great. Looking beyond food, Eliza and her team were phenomenal to work with. We planned our wedding from afar, and Eliza was so responsive and helpful during the entire planning process. Not only did she help with the planning of our menu, she provided us great recommendations of other vendors. She also helped us with our rental order to ensure we rented sufficient plates/cups, ect and that was extremely helpful. During the rehearsal dinner and wedding, her staff/team was amazing. The team was so nice and responsive. They put up with a very busy bar without issue. They helped with set-up and clean up. They were all great to work with.

We hired Milk & Honey to cater our 100-person wedding. Food was one of the most important aspects of our wedding day and we couldn't be happier with our decision. Eliza helped come up with a unique, elegant menu that every guest raved about that featured everything from sliders to lobster rolls and tacos to green bean tempura and zucchini fritters. I hope to have another party so that we can hire Milk & Honey again! I could not recommend Eliza and her team enough.

Eliza saved the day after I found out that Morning Glory Bakery in Bar Harbor would not be making wedding cakes this year.

She was recommended by all the people I trust when it comes to dessert including the folks at Morning Glory and the owner/ice cream wizard at Mount Desert Island Ice Cream. We sat down and started talking cake. She said the words "ridiculous amounts of butter" and we were all in.

I had 60 people at my wedding, at least 30 have come up to me to say that it was the best wedding cake they've ever had.

Eliza was not present but employed a substitute for our wedding reception. She was told subsequently that the meal had been served cold, among other negatives. She responded with, to quote, it was a "granular analysis".
