Yum! Carrot cake and French macarons! We had an outdoor wedding, so we knew that we wouldn't have a big, fancy wedding cake and we didn't want a "stage" cake. We also knew we wanted carrot cake. Our planner (Diane Boone of Arcadian Events) suggested Milk and Honey based on their macarons. I'm a bit of a macaron nut, and I think they hold up next to the best French makers!
I didn't price out other vendors (they were that good), but I think their price was very reasonable.
They did a small 2-tier cake for us to cut, a "kitchen" cake for serving, and macarons in three flavors to be passed toward the end of the evening (salted caramel, chocolate hazelnut, and almond apricot). Everyone loved the desserts and they were gorgeous too!
