Hi, my name is Dana Smith, owner of Milestones. I am a wife and mother to 2 beautiful daughters and 2 happy dogs. After earning my degree in Tourism, Convention and Event Management from Indiana University, I began working as the special events coordinator for a local non-profit preschool in Indianapolis. While working there, I have gained valuable experience in event management, donor relations, graphic design and marketing. It is truly a gift to be able to work somewhere doing what I love and helping wonderful children at the same time. Since graduating, I have also earned a certificate in floral design from IUPUI.

I started Milestones as a way to pursue my passion for organization and offer myself a creative outlet. I have always had a passion for art, crafts, food, dance, architecture and anything creative. I was blessed with wonderful art and dance teachers while growing up who fueled my passion for all things creative and beautiful. I am always thinking, writing ideas down and saving pictures. (Pinterest was a life changer for me!) I offer a unique skill set paired with professionalism to create unique events and designs that reflect your taste and style. My purpose is to help you organize and design the milestones in your life.
