We loved our event!

We hosted our daughter's graduation at Midtown Ballroom, and the experience was exceptional. The venue is trendy, convenient, upscale, and affordable. The management company was a pleasure to work with encouraged us to make our event truly unforgettable.

I definitely recommend their in-house entertainment. Midtown Ballroom has some of the best dancers in town, and the show won't disappoint.

Excelent venue

I chose Midtown Ballroom for my family reunion. We had a blast! Not only it's a fantastic venue, but the staff was fun, and the added bonus of dance lessons and performances really made my event.

Thank you guys, and I will see you on the dance floor again soon.

Beautiful ballroom but pricey ....

We used the Midtown ballroom for our wedding reception for 100 ppl. It was a beautiful space! I had concerns initially due to the one review listed here but overall we were pleased. We would found a location costs less but due to it being one street over from the church it was the perfect location. The initial response was a little slow but improved as time went on. Nicole was amazing and helped and answered my million and one question!!! There were minor things that annoyed me like them not closing the facility to the public for the day of our event, so after we set up our decor people could still come in and conduct/attend their dance classes.... and we were also not told beforehand that the bar would be closed during dinner, despite paying for a certain amount of hours. But overall, no major heartburn. We also got our deposit back quickly.
Only tables and chairs included for the price. Perfect size for event for 100- 130 ppl with full seating and dancing... past that it could get very tight. They will attempt to seat 10 ppl at a 5 ft table, which is too tight. Be knowledgeable beforehand.
Please feel free to email me for pics. The venue has no wedding reception pics online and that space is very hard to envision with tables and chairs.

Midtown Ballroom is a beautiful facility but the service doesn't live up to their looks. There are many other venues for less that provide better customer service, professionalism, responsiveness and met expectations. They attempted to convince me that soiled table covers was a part of the deal and we had to purchase extra table covers in order to ensure we had clean table cloths at the reception. They cater to their dancers and instructors first and then the bride. They did not work well with my wedding planner and would only respond to her after I contacted them which proved to be an inconvenience as I had a wedding planner so I could be stress free. The facility manager Lorraine and the facility contact person who handles everything Yusimi were never on the same page and blamed miscommunications on one another. Yusimi promised my wedding planner that she would be able to set up the day of the wedding at 9 AM and would leave her a key but of course no key and she was not able to access facility for 2 hours. My wedding planner was so far behind she had to utilize my groom and his friends in order to transform the room. My wedding planner also had to work around their dancers and instructors the day of which made things awkward and inconvenient. I followed back up with Yusimi to get an accurate account of events and he was dismissive but honest about the events as if it was not a big deal since the event was now in the past. I asked him how he thought he could make things right and he shared there was no need to and when I explained I would be sharing a review he encouraged me to do what I needed to. Though the facility is beautiful you will get more bang for your buck elsewhere and hopefully professionalism and experience in working with brides and their wedding planners. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend Midtown Ballroom for a soon to be bride and the stars are based on the actual facility only!
