Michelle turned the items around quickly, and the repairs were so well done, you couldn't tell there had been anything wrong! While I was standing talking to Michelle about the jewelry to leave there, she asked me if I wanted my rings cleaned - I walked out of the store with sparkling clean jewelry and a smile on my face! I have been back many times since to look at her display cases and ask questions. Michelle has a depth of experience and knowledge about all sorts of jewelry, she can explain why a certain piece was created historically, and how when they work with older pieces they maintain the integrity and value and preserve the history as well. I know Michelle appraises jewelry, and that's my next step. It is an important piece of information in the case of loss or damage, and also not only for the insurance purposes but also the personal knowledge about what jewelry is worth. Michelle is a terrific fashion stylist, jeweler and sales person. I never feel pressured by her. She lets her customers enjoy the experience of trying on various item and having fun. She is honest and if something does not look right, she will let you know. She stays up on the latest fashions but is also able to help you combine good traditional jewelry with costume. I receive many compliments when I wear her items and she has helped me accessorize for many events. I have been married for many years, and it is too bad that she was not around when I got married because I would have used her. I was searching for a 50th birthday ring for myself. I visited many Jewelers in the Metrowest area and even in NH and stumbled upon Michelle's shop in Wayland. I came with many disconnected ideas and Michelle listened carefully and melded them all into a ring I will love for the next 50 years! She developed a ring that is artistic and timeless while being sturdy enough for daily wear. Her knowledge of gems helped me find the perfect Ceylon Sapphire in the right shape/size and re-purposed gold and small diamonds from unused jewelry to help manage the cost. And, in addition to getting a ring people stop me to comment on, I made a friend in Michelle.

I stopped into Michelle's after shopping at a nearby Whole Foods Market. The purple awnings caught my eye and in I wandered. This store is a DELIGHT!!! The offerings range from traditional to funky to elegant to modern. The owner, Michelle, is always present and welcomes clients with a huge smile and tremendous warmth. She listens carefully, picks up on your style right away, and makes spot on suggestions. If she does not have the item you are looking for on display (her stock turns over quickly), she'll find it for you! Prices are extremely reasonable, repairs are done to perfection, and the customer service is superb. What a find!
