Gerard was such a pleasure to work with, and did such a wonderful job of bringing my floral vision to life! I booked Michael’s Florist for my original wedding in October 2020, and when I had to postpone to June 2021 due to Covid, I explained to Gerard that I still wanted my fall theme in June, with pumpkins and sunflowers. He loved the idea, and when I first walked into my reception room and saw the centerpieces and decorations, I almost cried tears of joy. It’s like he knew exactly what image I had in my head for my wedding day, and he did such an amazing job making it come to life! My bouquet was also so beautiful, as well as the bridesmaids’. I explained that I wanted a cascade bouquet, without it being too large and overpowering, and with flowers in specific different shades of purple and sunflowers. The bouquet he put together was perfect and even more beautiful than I could have imagined. Even the boutineers for the guys were exactly what we wanted. Their prices were incredibly reasonable, and they are able to work within any budget. I would recommend them a million times over! Thank you so much, Gerard and everyone else at Michael’s Florist!

Gerard was an absolute pleasure to work with. He did all of the floral pieces for my dsughter's shower and wedding. Everything from the centerpieces to bouquets to flower wall were exquisite !! I had some unique requests and every time he exceeded my expectations. Gerard is an artist!! I highly recommend Michael's florist and promise you will not be disappointed, but amazed !!

We went in for a consultation with only a few ideas and Gerard really helped us pull the rest of the flowers together easily. The flowers looked so fresh and Gerard and his team really have an good eye for the big arrangements. We received so many compliments and spent a reasonable amount to make our wedding day a fairy tale.

We chose Michael’s as our wedding florist because my family has always ordered from them for their exceptional funeral work, and we could not have been more thrilled. (Think about it: any florist can have a pretty shop or put together a nice bouquet, but it takes serious talent and professionalism to make those huge stand-up pieces on short notice, and have them still look gorgeous after three days without water.) Michael’s is an old family business on a residential street (they used to be in Newark, 60+ years ago), not much to look at from the outside, but their work is amazing. (They did Snooki’s wedding, of all things.) We went in with some general ideas – cornucopia vases, old-fashioned flowers, swatches of our gowns and stationery – and they quickly roughed-out a centerpiece in front of me, told us what and how much we needed, chose colors for our roses, etc. I was not the “I must have exactly this shade of out-of-season peony” kind of bride – I believe in hiring good vendors and trusting them to know their business, and Michael’s was the perfect match. We loved working with them – they’re old Italian guys who don’t mince words – and they were pretty reasonably priced under the circumstances (we paid cash). On our wedding day, everything was classic, gorgeous, delivered on time, perfectly fresh and beautifully arranged. What more can you ask?

My husband and I recently got married on Friday, June 26th and our flowers were so beautiful. I ABSOLUTELY loved working with Michael's Florist. We worked with Gerard and he is an absolute pleasure to work with. I even ended up changing my color scheme for my bridesmaids and Gerard was so graceful when I had decided to change the colors of some of our flowers. Gerard went out of his way to make a sample centerpiece for me to see and he even did some drapery for us (and even made a sample of the drapery for us to see too!). Gerard and his family are true professionals and they take a lot of pride in their work. It is evident that they put their heart into their business, this shines through in the beautiful work that they do. Not to mention, you will get a lot of value for your money with Michael's Florist. We highly recommend Michael's Florist!!!

A friend of ours told us to try Michael's out so my wife met with Gerard to go over what she wanted. Gerard was a pleasure to work with in my 2 encounters with him and was incredibly flexible and easy to work with. My wife called and texted him often with changes to the point I thought he was start ignoring her but he was very accommodating and patient with her, Gerard was very friendly and showed a passion for his business and genuinely cared that we would be happy with the finished product. My sister in law will be using him for her wedding after meeting with him and seeing his work. Will recommend to others!

I was very pleased with the quality of the flowers and reasonable price they gave me. The arrangements and church pew flowers were so beautiful. They guys were amazing to work with and really listened to exactly what I wanted. They let me come back a few times when I changed my mind on little things or wanted to discuss other options with them.

This has been my family's florist since I was a kid. As usual, they did a fabulous job. Our flowers were absolutely beautiful. I would recommend them in a heartbeat.
