Segal is an award winning wedding, fashion and celebrity photographer based in LA. Voted “Top 10 wedding photographers in Los Angeles ” - Wedding Rule.

Segal brings his professional experience with fashion and celebrity photography into the wedding itself. His style of shooting is fun, calm and relaxed with all the intent of keeping his subjects the same.

Michael’s passion to tell stories with images to last generations to come. Always chasing those special moments. With a photojournalistic candid style he will capture your day with spontaneity and clarity.

He has photographed talents such as Matthew McConaughey, Carrie Underwood, Christina Aguilera and many others.

Wedding commissions have taken him on assignments to Jamaica, Morocco, Italy, Mexico and Israel.

Michael’s wedding images have appeared in several publications including Vogue magazine, People, Inside Weddings, Grace Ormonde, California Wedding Day, The Knot and Martha Stewart Weddings to name a few.

When not taking photos you can find Michael on a tennis court or skateboarding with his two boys.

The best!

Michael is not your typical photographer, he is so fun and literally makes you feel like you are shooting for a magazine and that is what we love about him. He is AMAZING!! His images are perfection and he is the nicest person who really makes you feel comfortable. Check out his work and just hire him, you won't regret it!

Would hire again in a heartbeat

Hiring Michael was a fantastic decision! Michael was a professional throughout the entire process, answering questions and sharing advice (when requested) throughout the process. Not only was it super fun to work with him on the day of, but the pictures he took were absolutely stunning! We will hire Michael for all of our photography needs!

Wedding photography

Michael was unfortunately not available on my wedding day but he was very professional and sent me to his colleague, Jenna and her assistant McCall! They were wonderful, professional and truly made us feel amazing. Loved every moment and already got a sneak peek of the photos in a matter of 5 days. Absolutely love every photo and loved working with Jenna!

Michael is AWESOME! His photos are insanely gorgeous and absolutely timeless. Stephanie was the 2nd photographer on our wedding day and she did a fantastic job as well. He and his staff are SO helpful and a pleasure to work with. Michael's amazing, fun personality puts everyone at ease and 100% translates in his photos. Without a doubt, my husband and I made the best decision picking Michael and I recommend that anyone looking for perfect wedding photos pick Michael!

Michael was willing to work with us even when we had to move the wedding from Santa Monica to New York! He was easy to work with despite the distance. The pictures he took in the church were exceptional. Everyone was happy with the way thr pcitures came out. He was a lot of fun to work with which is important as the wedding day can become extremely hectic.
