My husband and I both knew it was very important to have beautiful photos for future memories of our wedding leading up to our big day. We are so happy we decided to have Michael capture our wedding/engagement as the photos turned out absolutely breathtaking! He was extremely flexible in working with us due to covid and personal issues that came up last minute with shooting engagement photos. Always quick to respond or give advice on locations and photos. Michael was so professional through the entire wedding planning process. Through the entire wedding he was really personable with everyone and was great with the kids also. Made us feel so appreciated and thankful we choose someone who really called about our photos. He really captured the love and captured how beautiful our wedding day was and just made the whole experience a breeze!

I cannot express enough how absolutely THRILLED I am with every image Michael took. We had issues with the first photographer we approached who did not understand our moody, romantic Halloween ideas. I came back to WeddingWire and stumbled upon Michael's page. I couldn't stop scrolling through his work on his webpage. We met with him and booked him immediately. Our engagement shoot was a lot of fun and Michael was a pro at helping my camera shy fiancé relax. My bridal portraits are sublime and I can't even begin to put into words how amazing the wedding day pictures are. Michael will be our photographer for life for any pictures we want to take!

Hands down my favorite vendor on my wedding day! His pictures are stunning! He did our engagement pictures as well and they were gorgeous and got us even more excited for the wedding. Michael is very professional and responsive. But in addition to his talent, he also brings his great personality to your wedding day. He was great at helping with things unrelated to photography. At one point I remember him helping my mom figure out how to put on my veil as I got ready. He was fun to spend time with all day and I really appreciate how he went above and beyond to make my wedding day great! Could not ask for a better wedding photographer!

We chose to work with Michael because of the beauty he captures in his photographs and also his calm demeanor. Michael was flexible and patient with us throughout the booking process and made sure he understood our vision. He and his assistant captured so many special moments at our wedding, both posed and candid, and also highlighted the beautiful scenery at our venue. My husband and I were married on Nov 17, 2019. We had a Texas Country/Barn wedding and it was the most perfect, happy, wonderful day of our lives and thanks to Michael Bush we will be able to relive this day over and over for the rest of our lives. He is not just a photographer, he is an artist and a journalist. His photos captured so much more than the events of the day. The eyes, the emotions, the laughter and the tears and all of the feelings in between. It's portraits, and landscapes and candids. He captured it all for us and it has been amazing to see how one single image can transport us back to that day and all of those feelings and emotions. Michael is so incredibly talented, all you have to do is take a look at his work and you will see what I'm talking about. But you know what, there are a lot of talented photographers out there. I need to tell you a little about the man behind the lens.

Since our engagement in the summer of 2018, Aaron and I had our hearts set on a Texas country barn wedding surrounded by all of our loved ones. We started our venue search in January of 2019 and on the first weekend of our search we were turned away by a country/barn venue that was at the top of our list. It was a stunning barn with excellent reviews. However, the day before our scheduled tour the venue owner told us in a private email that our wedding was not part of God's design for marriage and that he would not host our wedding at this venue. It was a devastating start to what should have been one of the happiest times in our lives. We began to question whether a Texas country wedding would even be a possibility for us. We were not prepared to come out again to each and every vendor and ask them if they would accept us. We decided to put our plans on hold to consider our options. We shared what happened to us with our friends, who shared it with their friends and it ended up making the local news. One of the first people to contact us after the news story hit was Michael. We still weren't sure we were even going to have a Texas wedding but he told us that he was upset to hear about our situation and offered to shoot our wedding for free. He felt compelled to reach out to us and offer his services because he wanted to make it right for us, complete strangers. He chose to come forward because he believes so strongly in equality and that everyone deserves love no matter what kind of couple you may be. We were blown away... and then we looked at his portfolio and we were blown away again. It's one thing to say that you are LGBT friendly, it's another to proactively reach out and offer your time and your talents to try to make a difference in the lives of complete strangers. That is the kind of man that Michael Bush is. In addition to being a talented photographer he is an amazing person and we were so incredibly fortunate to have him photograph our wedding. It might have been the best choice we made, even though he chose us first. You should choose him as well, you won't regret it.

5 stars does not even begin to describe the talent and passion Michael has for his work. He has a vision that is unmatched and a talent that cannot be adequately described. He managed to capture the most beautiful engagement photos, and there aren't words to describe how absolutely stunning my bridal portraits are- they literally left me speechless! My fiancé and I can't wait to see how he captures our wedding day! This man and his work should be in every magazine. He is so fun to work with, but so focused and professional at the same time. He'll put you at ease and let you be yourself. We will never work with another photographer!

From when I first saw his work on wedding wire I loved Michael's style. When we got to chatting I told him I didn't want your run of the mill engagement shoot and I wanted an edgier urban feel. Michael captured it perfectly and we are beyond thrilled with the turn out of the photos! WE CANNOT WAIT TO DO IT ALL OVER AGAIN AND EVEN BIGGER THIS TIME ON OUR WEDDING DAY!
