Responsive: Planning a destination wedding from New Jersey meant putting an enormous amount of trust in someone we couldn't regularly meet with in person, and Merylin earned that trust almost immediately. We communicated primarily through WhatsApp, and she was always quick to respond. Even if she couldn't answer a question right away because she was working another wedding, she always acknowledged our message, let us know when she'd be available, and followed through. Her assistant, Bridget, was equally wonderful, handling paperwork, vendor outreach, and administrative details. Together they kept us informed every step of the way, and if either of them was going to be out of the office, they communicated that in advance so we always knew what to expect.

Trustworthy: One of the things I appreciated most was how seriously Merylin took the responsibility of recommending vendors. She had fantastic relationships with the professionals she worked with, and it was obvious how much they respected one another. At the same time, her loyalty was always to her couples first. Early in the planning process, we had a negative experience with one potential videography vendor. After I shared what had happened, Merylin immediately told us she would be removing that vendor from her preferred list. She explained that another couple had previously shared similar concerns, and hearing our experience confirmed that this wasn't someone she wanted representing her business. I really appreciated that she listened, validated our concerns, and took action. It gave us even more confidence in every recommendation she made moving forward.

Resourceful: As the wedding approached, Merylin continued to go above and beyond. We had ordered our stationery from New Jersey because my sister designed it, but unfortunately it didn't arrive in Puerto Rico before the wedding. Instead of letting us panic, Merylin and her team printed what they could on the morning of the wedding so our seating assignments and dinner details still came together beautifully. Then, in the whirlwind of the wedding morning, I completely forgot to give her the cash for one of our vendors. Without saying a word, she paid the vendor herself so everything stayed on schedule and settled everything with us afterward. Those moments perfectly capture who Merylin is—someone who quietly solves problems before her couples ever have to worry about them.

Exceptional: On the wedding day itself, Merylin and her assistant, Edith, were absolutely incredible. Edith stayed by our side throughout the day while Merylin orchestrated everything behind the scenes. Because of the two of them, we never had to think about timelines, vendors, or logistics. We simply got to be present and enjoy every moment of our wedding.

Looking back, the greatest gift Merylin gave us wasn't just a beautifully organized wedding—it was complete peace of mind. She allowed us to be fully present for one of the happiest days of our lives, and that's something we'll always be grateful for.
