Mersadi has been so awesome to work with, from our initial interviews to the day-of, to final delivery. I love that she took the time to get to know us and get a sense of what was important to us beforehand. I think that was clutch for the day-of, when everyone (especially our mothers) had requests for different photos. She stayed flexible enough to accommodate those requests but also stayed focused on what we wanted. When we wanted to take advantage of a break in rain and extend our beach photo time, she did that and got the most amazing shots. She also coached us through everything in a way that we were able to be candid and goofy but still get stunning photos. Then, she delivered our preview gallery faster than we expected and the full gallery blew our minds. I wish I lived in Hawaii so I could hire for every big moment!

Mersadi and Jay were the best photo and video duo! I always enjoyed my talks with Mersadi leading up to the wedding, then on the wedding day she was always calm, cool, and on top of everything! I used to do photography myself, so I was super picky with finding a photographer, and immediately I fell in love with Mersadi’s work and how awesome of a person she is. She captures moments in such a journalistic approach, while also making the couple feel like models on their special day. You spend your whole day with your photographer and it’s important you and your partner get along with them. By the end of the day, my husband and I felt like we were reconnecting with old friends (with Mersadi and Jay) because they are just so down to earth and easy to get along with. As someone who’s always been behind the camera, I am terrible at being a “model” and Mersadi was always on top of adjusting my hair, giving me options with my hair styles and bouquet, and giving me posing techniques. Then as a huge bonus was the next day we got over 60 sneak peek photos! I couldn’t believe the turn around on those. We cannot wait for the full set and video, but based on what we already have, I know it’s going to be amazing. We hope to work again with Mersadi the next time we find ourselves in Hawaii. She and Jay are an amazing duo. Make sure you hire them, it’ll be the best decision you make!

Mersadi Olsen Photography and Video was Amazing! I am writing this review having only seen the preview of my daughter's wedding photos....they are that good! The rich colors Mersadi caught in these photos is un like any wedding photo I've seen before. Not only are the photos amazing....her and her husband (who shot the video....which I haven't seen yet) are so nice! They blended right in and talked to a lot of the guests. Everyone loved them! We had canceled the year before (due to Covid) but they flew out this year to Santa Cruz, CA. The wedding was AGAIN canceled by the wedding venue the night before, due to weather, and pushed to another venue by our wonderful wedding planner. Mersadi and her husband showed up the next day at the new venue ready to go. They were easy to work with and professional! I would highly recommend them both!

Mersadi feels more like a friend to me than photographer! She was someone I knew I had to have be a part of my wedding the moment we met! And her and her husband didn’t disappoint. She takes amazing photos, makes you feel beautiful, but also is there to have your back and be there for whatever you need

If you are a new bride and scrolling through photographer after photographer trying to find the right one...STOP SEARCHING! I would trust Mersadi with my big day time and time again. She provided my engagement photos, elopement (thanks COVID) photos & video, and is currently booked for our big celebration next year. Mersadi is the best at capturing your day in the most natural way possible. There are no awkward/stiff poses, but rather she guides you with prompts that end up showing off true laughter and love between you and your partner. She has been unbelievable accommodating through our multiple date changes and helped us plan literally EVERY detail of our dream elopement when all else failed. I promise you that booking her for your wedding will be one of the best decisions you make in the whole planning process!

Mersadi was super helpful from the very beginning. As I was planning this wedding alone, she jumped in to help guide me through the process and answer any questions I had. From creating a timeline and coordinating with vendors, I should've called her my co-wedding planner. As you can tell from her Instagram and website, she is all about photography and makes it look SO easy. I had booked her for 8 hours including the "get ready" stage, ceremony, dinner, sparkler entrance, speeches and cake cutting and she did not fail to capture every moment. I absolutely love all my candid photos from the day as she was so calm and laid back through it all. She took charge when needed and was flexible with timing and family requests. She was by far, my favorite vendor to work with and would recommend her to anyone!

Mersadi is just an amazing photographer. My husband and I were so lucky and thrilled to have had such a talented photographer. She is like the fairy godmother in the photography world. Even weeks after our engagement session and our wedding day, I feel like I relive those moments whenever I see the pictures. The pictures look like a perfect dream copied and pasted onto photographs. Not only is she so talented – but she is the type of person you just want to hang out with on a daily basis. She’s so friendly, down to earth, energetic and full of life! Trust me when I say – every client will have an amazing experience with her.

Mersadi is THE BEST! I found her through Instagram and fell in love with her style and her pictures speak for themselves. AMAZING! I thought no way would our pictures turn out this awesome, but she responded right away and made me feel so confident and excited! She chose an incredible location that gave us the Hawaii pictures we dreamed about! Mersadi talked us through different positions and let the entire night feel so natural. Nothing felt rushed and it was such an awesome experience. Sadly, the sun set and the session was over, but we couldn’t wait to see what she captured. Maybe an hour later she sent a sneak peak and WOW, we were blown away!! Seriously, I was in shock. They were above and beyond what I had imagined. When the full gallery was sent we were just as happy as the night we took the pictures! She gave us the most dreamy, fun, memorable engagement pictures that we will cherish for the rest of our lives!

What a perfect and unforgettable experience! Mersadi is everything you would expect in a professional photographer and much more. She gave us excellent direction and guidance when it was needed.
