We had our wedding ceremony at the Meridian Historical Village Chapel and it was perfect! Everyone commented on how nice and unique the venue was. With the surrounding historical buildings, gazebo and pond, it makes for a beautiful setting!

We loved this little park and all the charming features. We were married in the chapel and we were able to use the entire park to get beautiful photos beforehand. The chapel was clean and we were able to use the two bathrooms downstairs to get ready & wait in. The chapel is very cute, but you cannot use tape or any sort of adhesive on the pews or walls, so that is something to consider when choosing your decorations. There are also two huge sconces on the main wall that are not allowed to come down (but are a bit of an eyesore).
For the amount that we paid, I felt that we should have had more than 3 hours the day of the wedding. Because we did a first look, the 3 hours did not really allow us to come in and do our make up there before the wedding. It provided us with quite a time crunch.
Another downside to this venue is that it can only seat 100 people.
Overall, we were very happy with the way the ceremony turned out!
