When looking for a photographer, my goal was for my wedding photos to be able to be hung up and look like art instead of wedding photos. Melissa had photographed a friend‘s wedding and had really captured the beauty of their venue. Her bright without washing out editing style was exactly what I was looking for. Melissa has a very calm and confident demeanor that was first put to the test when our initial plan for engagement photos was rained out. Less than 24 hours prior to the shoot, we changed the time and location. In both our engagement photos and wedding photos, Melissa was able to expertly capture the architecture as well as direct for posing to get the perfect shot. We recently hung up some of our wedding photos and had a guest ask if one of the photos was a painting. So I would definitely say that Melissa achieved my vision. We could not have been happier with her services and highly recommend her as your wedding photographer!

Run, don't walk to book Melissa to photograph your wedding! Of the hundreds of decisions a wedding requires the couple to make, booking Melissa was the easiest. From our initial phone call where she asked thorough questions about our vision, to our fun engagement shoot down the Cape, to our beautifully captured wedding day, Melissa did it all. She was the calming presence you need that day, but she was also efficient and amazing at the same time. Our photos are the most beautiful wedding photos I've ever seen (biased of course). Our best friends are getting married next year and they didn't hesitate to book Melissa knowing how fantastic all of our photos came out. We can't recommend Melissa enough!

There truly are not enough words to express our gratitude to Melissa and her team for how amazing they were, not only on our wedding day, but leading up to it as well. Melissa worked with us every step of the way, through a postponement and almost two whole years of planning. As an individual, she is so kind and patient, and as a professional, she is immensely talented. Seeing our wedding through her lens has been such a gift. She was able to capture all of the beautiful in-between moments shared between my husband and I, and with our family and loved ones, that might have otherwise been overlooked. Melissa was absolutely INCREDIBLE to work with - she was hands down one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. We are truly blown away by how beautiful our photos are and how many we have to choose from - my jaw dropped when we received our gallery back! She truly captured every moment in such a natural way. In addition to Melissa's talent, she is so sweet and was great to work with - she was patient when we had to change our date multiple times due to covid, and had a very calming and positive presence on our wedding day. We hope to work with her again in the future and can't recommend her enough!

WOW! Three letters to describe Melissa's work. We did our engagement pictures with her in 2019 and insisted we would be her "awkward couple", but she managed to make us feel so comfortable in front of a camera and got incredible pictures of us. Fast forward to April 2020 when we called to tell her we had to cancel our wedding in August due to COVID. She was beyond understanding and empathetic. She was so flexible and we were able to re-book her for July 23, 2021 at a different venue no problem. The pictures she got at our wedding were truly out of a magazine. When she sent us the album I cried because she had captured the day so perfectly. From getting ready, to the ceremony, to the dance floor--she got it all. My favorite part of Melissa's pictures are how natural and un-posed they are. Melissa is so sweet and has such an artistic and talented eye for how to photograph the most important moments. She was hands down one of our favorite vendors to work with and I hope to work with her in the future for other significant life events!

Melissa and her team were an absolute pleasure to work with. I had Melissa shoot my engagement pictures about a year before our wedding, and we were immediately impressed with her photos., but once we started to receive our wedding pictures back we were beyond impressed.
