We just received our photos from our summer wedding and couldn't be more impressed with Melissa's work. The pictures are gorgeous and she captured every moment and emotion that mattered. We did not meet Melissa prior to our rehearsal dinner, but as soon as she arrived we knew we had made the right choice. She is calm, funny and works quickly to make sure she gets a variety of shots. Melissa goes out of her way to photograph reactions and "in between" moments that take us back to our wedding weekend. If you're looking for an artistically talented photographer who is upbeat and fun to work with, look no further!!!

Working with Melissa and her assistant photographer was an amazing experience. Melissa was the first vendor we booked--I knew right away no matter when and how we were getting married, she'd be the one to capture it. From our engagement photos to the last edit of our wedding photos, Melissa was accommodating and professional. We had a really foggy night for our first engagement session and while Melissa tried to help us capture photos that night, the weather got the best of us and we rescheduled with no problem. We had some pretty cool fog photos though! Our second run through was fantastic as well. On the wedding day, Melissa was beyond wonderful, helping me navigate the wedding day and leaving the details of the photography up to her. I selected which formal photos I wanted captured of the day and the rest was up to her. We have a wonderful collection of both formal and candid photos. Any time I got nervous or anxious during the preparations, Melissa was there to help ease my worries. She was also extremely responsive by email and answered any questions I had---including the best time of day for us to take photos when having a winter wedding with limited daylight! We did a first look before the ceremony and Melissa arranged for an amazing location for my husband and I to see each other for the first time in downtown Providence right near the skating rink. She was a great vendor and now I have the impossible task of assembling an album with hundreds of wonderful photos!

This review has been a long time coming, but is truly necessary. My husband and I were married this past September. Leading up to our wedding, my husband and I had to make many important decisions, and I can say without any regret that choosing Melissa Robotti as our wedding photographer was one of the best decisions of our entire wedding. Melissa not only took amazing photos but she was honestly a pleasure to work with and made my husband and I extremely comfortable. After being asked to kiss a dozen times and strike a pose for the camera, a couple can get a little stiff, but Melissa had this natural gift to keep my husband and I engaged and more importantly laughing. The photos from our ceremony and reception were amazing. She understood that we didn't just want pictures, but wanted captured moments. The beautiful candid shot are my absolute favorite, and truly tell the story of the day. I cannot thank Melissa enough for capturing our wedding day. I can't wait to have kids so I can work with Melissa again. Her children's photography is stunning.

When searching for photographers to do our engagement photos, Melissa's work stood out above all the rest! We loved her style and were really excited to work with her. Melissa is the best vendor you will work with during your entire wedding experience. She is a pro at what she does and is extremely easy to get along with. I remember my first time meeting her, my husband and I talked with her for an hour even before discussing photos for our wedding! The engagement session wasn't any different. Her fun easy-going attitude allowed my husband and I to completely relax and have a blast during the session. As a result, she was able to capture some of the best moments that we will treasure for the rest of our lives. At the wedding, Melissa and her assistant were unbelievable. They were again so easy to work with and helped make sure we captured some important moments on camera. Although I have not seen the final photos yet, I'm confident that they will be amazing just because she took them. Melissa has an eye for capturing moments that others are not aware of. From the moment we met Melissa, I knew she was going to be a dream to work with. Flash forward a few months later and we got to experience her work first hand. She shot our engagement photos on the beach and made the entire experience really fun and relaxing! Her charm is so appreciated and she is funny and knows exactly what to say in the moment to get the perfect picture. She was even better on our wedding day. What a pro- she kept everyone on time, captured all of the shots we were hoping for, and even handled a few things for me to keep me from stressing out. As a professional photographer myself I knew that finding the perfect photographer for my own wedding would be my biggest task. After researching nearly every photographer in MA I felt as though I would never find the "perfect" photographer...Until I came across Melissa's website and absolutely fell in love with all of her work. It got even better when I met Melissa in person! After meeting with Melissa I knew in my gut that she was the perfect person to photograph my wedding. I had nothing but trust in Melissa's work and for that, I was able to relax on my wedding day without questioning if she was getting all the shots I wanted. Melissa is an amazing photographer. Her work speaks for itself and she was a joy to work with. She ensured she knew what we wanted to get out of the pictures in terms of poses, look, feel and emotion. We were married at Belle Mer in Newport, RI and since Melissa had worked there before, she made recommendations about taking pictures that work well at the venue we wouldn't have thought of.
