We could not have asked for a better wedding photographer than Melissa! We met with a few other photographers and upon meeting Melissa, we knew she was different from the rest. I felt so comfortable with her from the very first meeting and she won us over with her great attitude and passion for taking photos. She was never once pushy like a lot of the others we met with. And she was affordable which also helps! When it came time to take our engagement photos, I asked Melissa for suggestions and she took us to this amazing, romantic location that was perfect for our pictures. In the months leading up to our wedding, Melissa and I exchanged numerous emails and she was always very responsive and helpful. When the wedding day came, she and her assistant were there on time and took the photos we requested in a timely manner. There was a snow storm on our wedding day (in October!), but you would never be able to tell the mess of rain and snow surrounding us because our photos came out so vibrant and beautiful. What we admired most about Melissa was her laid back attitude and her patience. During the ceremony and reception, she was so sly that she just seemed like another guest. And she was so patient when we had to gather the right people to take the special photos we had requested. We are so lucky to have found Melissa and would recommend her to any couple looking for a FABULOUS wedding photographer! :)

Melissa was wonderful to work with. She caught amazing shots of our wedding - both formal and candids. I was impressed with the posed photos Melissa took, she was able to capture our families and groups of friends with everyone looking great. The candids were my favorite, she captured moments in a very unobtrusive way - I didn't realize she was taking any of them! And, from an administrative perspective, Melissa was very responsive, professional, and make working with her very easy. Honestly, I could not be any happier with Melissa's work. She was extremely easy to communicate with in the time leading up to our wedding, very helpful in working with me on achieving what I wanted out of my photos, what shots were important and that made my end result exactly what I was looking for. During the wedding it was obvious both Melissa and her assistant were having fun taking photos! I loved that and my guests loved it too! They were so professional, took photos from preperation to the very end of the reception. It's amazing how much of your own wedding you don't see, you're just too preoccupied, Melissa was able to capture moments that I wouldn't have been able to enjoy had they not been photographed.

Within days we were able to have a sneak peak at some of the photos on her website and within weeks we had the CD containing all of the electronic copies of our wedding.
