Melissa Martino is a fine artist and a makeup artist. She studied Fashion Make-Up Artistry at Make-Up Designory School in NYC and Skin Care at Rizzieri-Aveda School in NJ. She is a licensed esthetician in NJ, NY and PA.

As a MAKEUP ARTIST Melissa has found that the face is a fascinating canvas. Her passion is to work with each individual and accentuate their own uniqueness. Whether it be eyes, brows, cheek bones, lips or skin tone, there is a special quality that each face possesses. Melissa uses her “art eye” to draw attention to their special beauty. She blends cosmetics as she does in art, using a palette, until she has the perfect color. She loves how makeup can transform a face and feels it is very rewarding to see the finished product, a client who loves their makeup and feels beautiful.

Melissa believes creating a bridal look or following a designer’s look for New York Fashion Week is another perk of being a makeup artist. Seeing the bride’s dream look come true or helping to bring a designer’s vision to life and watching the models walk down the runway is extremely rewarding.

Melissa especially likes helping the challenging client, someone who has facial imperfections, blemishes, discoloration, scars. She can blend coverup, foundation, use contour to create a flawless, even look, and their beauty shines through. The client is overjoyed and they feel beautiful!
