We recently got married at Jay Peak last September and chose Melissa to photograph our big day. Melissa was incredible to work with and went above and beyond to capture all our special moments (including hiking to the very top of Jay Peak from the tram). Although we had some smoke that day roll in from Canada, Melissa did such an amazing job to ensure our first-look photos still came out stunning. She also did an amazing job capturing our highly energetic pup in every photo during the events of our day. Throughout the ceremony and reception Melissa was always very attentive to make sure she caught everything on camera. We were also pleasantly surprised to receive our entire wedding photo album just 2 months after our date! Perfect timing for the holiday season coming up. We can’t recommend Melissa enough for your own wedding!

Melissa was amazing to work with. My husband and I do not enjoy getting our photo taken and Melissa kept us comfortable and helped guide us so nothing felt to posed or fake. It rained on our wedding day and Melissa was prepared with a raincoat for herself and clear umbrellas. She really encouraged us to go out and take the photos that we wanted and I am so glad that we did. Melissa helped make things fun and was able to help with any sort of task we through at her. We anxiously awaited to get our photos back and are blown away by how beautiful they came out.

Melissa was absolutely phenomenal as our wedding photographer. We felt amazingly comfortable with her from our very first phone call, and as we browsed through her portfolio we only got more excited. She was flexible enough to work around our schedule for engagement photos as we were only in town for Thanksgiving, and found an incredible location for our shoot! She was fun and kept the whole experience relaxed and moving. Melissa communicated well throughout the planning process, was patient with us as we listed out so many photos we wanted to get, and was so helpful as we thought through the details. Day of the wedding, she kept us on track with the timeline, and caught so many precious moments throughout the day. Melissa captured all of the emotions of our wedding day, and clearly got to know us well enough to pull together some really special detail shots with our rings at the end of the night. She and her second shooter, Hillary, were flexible, hardworking, and so kind and helpful throughout the whole day. We couldn't have asked for a better photography team, and we cannot stop looking at our photos. My husband and I both highly highly recommend you stop looking right now and hire Melissa. :)
